Not assuming Iyer won't be but he might be someone possible. Depends how many players can be retained.

Looking at Delhi I see their main players being: Pant, Rabada, Iyer, Shaw, Dhawan, Nortje.

This was a heart stopper!! Though a defeat wouldn’t have hurt CSK much, it helps stripping KKR on a red hot run themselves. Jadeja played a well……… JADDA innings!! The moment KKR found Russell limping, their bowling plans got complicated. Also KKR were a lil too obsessed with match ups and bowled too many overs of their seamers early up against Moeen and Raina that they couldn't keep an extra over of Ferguson for the end. Prasidh has done well but against guys like Jadeja, you need a good express pacer to attack him and Prasidh faced a similar fate to Harshal Patel and that clinched it, even though CSK tried hard and made this a last ball finish!!

Dhoni against Varun is a bugs bunny tale! Its way beyond obvious now that Dhoni's batting prowess is past its expiry date. But to his credit, he has played around it so well that the team doesn't care anymore what Dhoni scores with the bat, because his captaincy and man management (along with Flemmo and the staff) is still winning them games. That this team is on top of the table without any contribution from Dhoni and Raina speaks volumes of the team that they've managed to build post the horrors of last season. Playoff spot is nailed, and now its time to nail the Top 2 spot!! Wouldn't want them to rest until they nail that!
