Hundred on DEBUT!!! Raina, WOW!!! Scoring a hundred on debut in a test even if the pitch is a road, is an achievement. Very well played. Can see glimpses of Ganguly in him. He has been highly successful in ODI and T20 cricket. Maybe now he might graduate well into test level after this innings. Hope he will close out Yuvraj from tests.

Sachin is batting so so well too. Follow-on avoided. Hope we see some fireworks in 2nd session for some entertainment. Want to see Sachin get to 200.

Sachin isn't going to get a 300. There's a reason why there have been so few 300s in the history of cricket--one silly mistake is going to wreck the chance of that happening. Sachin doesn't have the best temperament of the Indian top order, either.

Sehwag usually gets his 300s/high 250s in as many balls as it takes a normal batsman to get to 150/100, so the temperament for a long innings doesn't even come into play.

Today Records so far - Raina hundred on debut, Highest Partnership for India with a debutant, Randiv now has the most bowling average, Randiv has now bowled the most number of overs on debut

Imagine what the Indian bowlers must have gone through in both tests. So easy to criticise them.
