those were some very terrible wickets, Sachin didn't do anything, Sehwag as expected went early, Raina played a good cameo but couldn't hold on after fifty, Laxman was solid but unfortunately India is in deep trouble. Though their chances are still very even till now.

Mishra and Mithun should try to stick around and build partnership but that looks unlikely with the way Malinga is bowling. I don't want Sri Lanka to get more than 25 runs lead.

Chasing anything over 250 on this pitch is going to be very hard (over 300 would be impossible). Lets hope Mithun, Mishra, Ishant and Ojha can score 30-40 more runs and bring SL's lead down to 20 odd runs.

Whats Dhoni been doing with his batting recently? Very ordinary stuff from him off late.

Mithun complete his 100 in just 4 innings. He's becoming very handy now.

Mithun looks a decent bat. Negotiates the short ball pretty well, and has the patience to play a test innings. Mighty impressed with his batting skills.

47 is the lead now for SL. Hope we can eat up more (would be great if we level scores). We would then still be in contention for the win if we bowl well.

Agreed, I'm liking his batting.

Also the match is pretty evenly set here and I think India will allout getting a lead of 20-40.
