Our test team is easily the worst. No bite in the bowling and defensive selections. India will pile on 500+ and declare

The Indian batsmen are taking it a little casually I feel now. Dhawan has already gotten away with one which too the edge but fell away from the fielder, and Vijay is guiding shots to 3rd man when there is a slip in place. Its fine when it gets to the boundary but those are the shots that get you out.

India are in great position, and need to tighten up especially just before lunch.

It's all about the weather. India will paste Bangladesh, else. Bangladesh will paste Ishant Sharma.

This India vs Bangladesh test is right now effectively the first ever Day Night Test. Its dark out there and gloomy and the lights have full effect with each player now casting multiple shadows on the ground.

To be honest looks and feels the same as any test match so far.

Was thinking Dhawan would make a big one today, he needed runs and was in good form in the world cup so was hungry for this one.
Too easy for Vijay at the other end, a very solid batsman.
Is looking like a big Indian win if the rain stays away, and the fast scoring and 5 bowlers should help.

Isn't Vijay playing too slowly ?

He's the reason Dhawan is playing so freely and confidently. He's holding one end. India have a good start but it could well become 280-4 if we have a mad hour. Unless we reach 400+, they should play sensibly and once they reach around 450 or more, they can throw their bats at everything.

India has started well and has scored more than two hundred run with out any loss. So it will not be so easy for Bangladesh to come back and win the test. They have to give their best performance to play good cricket if they have even go for draw.

Well India played quite well on a very solid wicket.Dhawan the man to be noted played freely and knocked a lovely century and a half but Vijay could play a bit more freely.I do not mean to say that he should go for every ball or two like Shikhar Dhawan but at least hit the balls which are meant to be hit and make the most of them. Bangladesh need to buck up and for any upcoming test series they should keep more pacers than spinners and it should be especially done against the subcontinent. They should keep more spinners against European and Oceanian countries.

I think I've worked out what Bangladesh were thinking agreeing to a one test series during the rainy season.

There's a 80+% chance of this being a draw if Bangladesh don't collapse in an England-like fashion; so the match and the series will be drawn; boosting them up in the rankings and dropping India down further. Its quite clever
