I think his time is up. Its high time we got in Manoj Tiwary seeing as Rohit isn't going anywhere with this kind of form.

^he is just an IPL player and not a Indian team player. But you can't blame the lose on one player

I dont believe we are over dependent on Kohli yet. He is not yet the Sachin Tendulkar of the 90's on whom the entire team believed would take them home. Guys like Dhoni, Raina are all capable of scoring well and more so in these 'not too bouncy' conditions. Normally we play like this first game of the series, but we finally came up with this in the second game.
Rohit should be dumped from the Indian team forever. I wouldn't give him a chance even in our test team. He is a waste of time!

Rohit is still very young, BCCI will give him a lot of chances, already he has played a lot of games for india and only averages something in the 20's
We will never have a consistent batting lineup until we think about the middle order. Right now, we have no middle order. Sehwag and Gambhir are good openers even though they tend to fail often now. Virat is the best number 3 we have right now but after him, I don't even see the middle order. Rohit and Raina are just burdens on the team. Rohit can't even last 20 minutes on the crease no matter what the pitch or batting condition is like. On the other hand, Raina is a complete failure too. He isn't even consistent on dead pitches. He might get lucky once in a while and get a 50 on dead pitches but otherwise, he is a flop.
