You're right but then every team has to tackle with the vacuum left by the legendary players. Well, India are not having Kumble and Harbhajan. Ashwin and Rahul Sharma are not the best of bowlers around but India is still getting away with it. Herath is a good bowler so Srilanka must not still be missing Murali. They would definitely be looking forward rather than looking back and remembering Murali's greatness.


Indian team likes to make things interesting, don't they? Its heartening to see Irfan Pathan amongst the runs which will take a lot of load off him. Sir Ravindra would have to wait long now. I knew the master of dead pitches Suresh Raina would click (to save his career?).

Lolz liked the piece on Raina but with all respect I do not agree with him being 'a master of dead pitches', we can collectively call the team this since they mostly play on roads, well exception being Kholi he is a class act, a legend in the making.

If Rohit gets dropped after a first ball duck, I will sympathise. Yes I realise that he's had a lean run, but anyone can get out first ball, it doesn't prove he's out of form etc. I'd much rather drop a player after he scratches around for 20 balls, than get out after 1.

He should have been dropped long time back. Now there is no sympathy for him whatsoever and deservedly. Raina can handle Malinga's yorkers and Rohit can't handle them? Rohit is a more technically solid guy than Raina.
