I think he has lost his swing a bit, and obviously his pace.

I didn't watch much of his younger days but I remember an ODI series against India where he generated alot of pace and tons of away swing from Sourav Ganguly.

It was almost inevitable that Ganguly would be out caught early in the packed cover region.

yea obviously its because of age, but in favorable conditions iv seen him go over 130 even at this age. he was smart and realized that his pace will not be there anymore and started using his variations more and practicing the cutters.

So far - Pitch has kept low but nothing else has changed much due to the rain or sweating.

They aren't looking so bad against Mendis either.

Oh damn! Come on Karthik! I have to support you now (also as I come from the same state & city). Maanatha kaapathu (in Tamil, it means "Save our reputation").

We need a minimum of 300 runs lead (which itself I feel will not be enough but it will be something that the bowlers can bowl with). I feel that this wicket will keep giving bowlers the wickets if they keep it to a good line. But seriously, Saurav and Karthik need to take us far now.
