India's Tour of Sri Lanka

Munaf bowled well.

RP Singh's stats in the subcontinent speak for themselves.

He only had one good series and a good stint in the T20 world cup (nothing to go by in ODI cricket tbh)

And just because I like a particular player doesn't mean I don't know my cricket. Karthik has class, he may not deliver all the time but he has a lot more potential and a lot more talent then many cricketers. Plus, he's genuinely a nice guy, unlike some people on here it seems.

You still didnt answer my question. On what basis was Munaf picked ahead of RP singh? On what basis was Zak played ahead of RP singh.

Just so you know,

LAST 12 MONTHS

Zaheer Khan

18 ODIS 17 WICKETS at 49.05

RP Singh

19 ODIS 28 WICKETS @ 33.21

Unlike you, I have stats to back up what i say!

Coming from a karthik fan, believe me that doesnt mean much :P

How is he crap??? For what reason tell me, Munaf played and he didnt?

Because Agarkar's had more than enough chances to prove himself. Plus, he leaks far too many runs. With our batting line up looking weak at the moment, the last thing we need is to be chasing a big/even bigger score. Agarkar is crap.

To answer your question, Zaheer has sort of been in and out of the team due to recurring injuries.

As Rohit says, RP Singh has not been a good bowler in subcontinental conditions. Even though I hate Munaf, he looks a better option because of his accuracy and the economy. He gives Zaheer the full license to attack, which Zaheer is good at. Right now more then the fielding (where Munaf is worst), we need his accuracy and I dont mind him in the side.

After trying Kohli in the first game, they shouldnt drop him. He is also part of our future, and he needs backing now that he has been roped in. Badri might have to wait until the 3rd game or so for his chance.

I even stopped watching it mates, go for the revolt, let the series be as it is.. HAHA.. (Can't do much than that though..)..

The ball to dismiss Sangakkara was a beauty and then another excellent one to get Jayawarndena's outside edge and then he sells the same ball to Kapugedera!

12-4 at the moment...dont be surprised if SL make 200. We are talking about a team that lost a test after having a team at 39-6.

Good bowling by Zaheer... If SL don't lose any more wickets till 30th over, its possible that they can score 200

India are really fighting back. They had Sri Lanka at 33-5 and 44-6, but now there is a 74 runs partnership with the tail enders. And now a wicket has fallen at 118-7.

Well batted by Thushara and Kulla is also doing good, now all SL need is Mendis to support and Murali to hit few sixes ;)
