Score update:

West Indies A 188 all out

Indian Board of Control XI 217/8 declared

West Indies A 269/3 declared (68.2 overs)

Dawnley Joseph and Keith Arthurton add an unbroken 171* for the 4th wicket.
West Indies A declare after Joseph reaches his hundred, leaving the home team 40 overs to make 241 to win.
A draw is likely, but West Indies A can take some satisfaction from their performance so far in this match after a poor first day.

ACB Chairman's XI v Pakistan A - T20 match - WACA Ground, Perth

Pitch: 1A - Very slow paced wicket

Weather: 9 - Chance of thunderstorms

Toss: ACB Chairman's XI

The ACB Chairmman's XI won the toss and elected to bowl first on a very slow paced wicket, sure to keep the scores low.
Pakistan A struggled throughout their innings, Lehmann taking 4 wickets for the 2nd match running, only 33 in 22 balls from Rizwan-uz-Zaman and a handy last wicket partnership of 15* allowing them to reach 106/9 off their 20 overs.
At the time it didn't appear enough, but the value of Rizwan's inning's would be seen after both teams batted.
The ACB Chairman's XI were immediately in trouble, losing Blewett for a first ball duck in the 2nd over.
It never got better, Man of the Match Manzoor Elahi having a field day, running through the home side to claim 5-8 off 3.5 overs as the ACB Chairman's XI were dismissed for an abysmal 57.
4 wickets to offspinner Saqlain Mushtaq helped complete the rout, handing Pakistan A a 49 run victory and their first win on tour.

Pakistan A win by 49 runs

Man of the Match: Manzoor Elahi

Pakistan A 106/9 (20 overs)
(Rizwan-uz-Zaman 33; B.P.Julian 2-20, G.B.Hogg 2-11, D.S.Lehmann 4-17)

ACB Chairman's XI 57 all out (16.4 overs)

SLC XI v West Indies - 3 day First Class match 1991/2 - Moratuwa

Pitch: 23

Toss: SLC XI

After half centuries to Mahanama, Atapattu, and allrounder Asoka de Silva, the SLC XI declared their 1st innings closed at 267/7.
Lead by Carlisle Best's 87, West Indies replied with 8-233 declared, with offspinner Warnaweera causing the middle order problems with a 5 wicket haul.
SLX XI collapsed in their 2nd innings, all out for 120 to a superb allround bowling and fielding display by a pumped up West Indies side.
Set 155 to win in 2 hours 45, the West Indies seemed to be cruising to victory, before 5 wickets in 4 overs to Warnaweera, enjoying the Uneven 3rd day pitch, left the visitors scrambling for a draw.
Bad light ended play 13 overs early, with Man of the Match Warnaweera taking 10 wickets in the match and scoring important psychological blows in the last 3 day warmup before the international series begins.

Zimbabwe Board XI v England A - 3 day First Class match - Bulawayo

Lead by a magnificent double century by Man of the Match Ali Shah, the Zimbabwean Board XI punished a wayward England A attack to post 480/5 in their first innings, before declaring at Lunch on Day 2.
Backed by a hard hitting 88 with 15 fours by the experienced Andy Waller, Shah put the home team in complete control, having scored over 200 on the first day before being out to Paul Taylor just before Stumps.
A century by Thorpe, and an aggressive 72 off 83 balls by Watkinson, aided by some gritty tail end batting, allowed England A to avoid the follow on, condemning the match to a draw.
There was little to write home about for a poor England A side, with a clearly grumpy captain Kim Barnett bowling himself for 14 overs in the first innings when other more established bowlers failed to perform.

Match Drawn

Man of the Match: A.H.Shah

Zimbabwe Board XI 480/5 declared (127.5 overs)
(K.J.Arnott 29, A.H.Shah 203, A.C.Waller 88, C.N.Evans 46, I.P.Butchart 62*, W.R.James 26*; P.C.R.Tufnell 2-98)

Score update:

South African Board XI v Pakistan - 50 over List A match 1991/2 - Durban

Pakistan 68/3 (17 overs)
(Shoaib Mohammad 21, Inzamam-ul-Haq 21*)

Pakistan make a quick start, but lose 3 wickets to the seamers as the home side find swing in the Humid conditions.
A flat pitch means a high score could be possible, though early wickets mean some rebuilding is required.

South Africa Board XI v Pakistan - 50 over List A match 1991/2 - Durban

Pakistan 161/4 (34 overs)
(Shoaib Mohammad 21, Inzamam-ul-Haq 31, Saleem Malik 63*, Moin Khan 20*)

Pakistan slip to 93/4 before Saleem Malik and keeper Moin Khan add 68* for the 5th wicket.

Score update:

South Africa Board XI v Pakistan - 50 over List A match 1991/2 - Durban

Pakistan 241/9 (50 overs)
(Shoaib Mohammad 21, Inzamam-ul-Haq 31, Saleem Malik 96, Moin Khan 27; P.C.Strydom 4-35)

A brilliant 96 off 85 balls to Saleem Malik, hitting 9 fours and 3 sixes, lead Pakistan to a strong total in the 50 over match at Durban.
The top order were troubled by the new ball in Humid conditions, but Saleem quickly upped the scoring rate, and only 4 wickets to left arm spinner Strydom could stem the flow.

Score update:

New Zealand A v England - T20 match 1991/2 - Dunedin

New Zealand A 144/5 (20 overs)
(T.J.Franklin 22, M.J.Greatbatch 30, R.T.Latham 53; A.R.C.Fraser 2-34, I.T.Botham 2-14)

53 in 31 balls to Latham with 4 sixes overcame a tight 4 over spell from veteran England allrounder Ian Botham.
New Zealand A finished on 144/5 from their 20 overs and would feel they are in with a good chance in this one.

New Zealand A v England - T20 match 1991/2 - Napier

Pitch: 3 - Normal

Weather: 6 - Cool and showery

Toss: New Zealand A

New Zealand A won the toss, and after weathering a tight spell by veteran allround Ian Botham, posted 144/5 from their 20 overs.
A hard hitting 53 in 31 balls to Rod Latham, with 4 fours and 4 sixes left the home team pretty happy with their position at the break.
Atherton made 20 off 13 balls to get England off to a quick start and suggest he may have a future in this form of the game, but too many batsmen got starts and got out.
A disciplined New Zealand A attack bowled well as a group and restricted England A in the middle overs, as the visitors eventually fell 5 short.
The key moment of the chase was probably Botham's dismissal, lbw to Sua with 28 required to win from 3 overs.
Latham was Man of the Match, his innings giving New Zealand A enough runs to play with.

New Zealand A won by 5 runs

Man of the Match: R.T.Latham

New Zealand A 144/5 (20 overs)
(T.J.Franklin 22, M.J.Greatbatch 30, R.T.Latham 53; A.R.C.Fraser 2-31, I.T.Botham 2-14)

England 139/8 (20 overs)
(M.A.Atherton 20, G.A.Hick 25, N.H.Fairbrother 27, I.T.Botham 25; M.L.Sua 3-27, G.R.Larsen 3-19)

Score update:

Zimbabwe Board XI v England A - 50 over List A match - Bulawayo

Zimbabwe Board XI 230/5 (50 overs)
(K.J.Arnott 95, S.V.Carlisle 53, A.C.Waller 24*, I.P.Butchart 44; S.L.Watkin 2-36, P.J.Newport 2-42)

After losing first game double century maker A.H.Shah for a duck to Reeve, Zimbabwe Board XI recover thanks to a 143 run 2nd wkt stand between Arnott and Carlisle.
Late hitting by Butchart takes the home team to 230/5 off 50 overs.
It promises to be an entertaining chase, the target about par for a Good Batting Wicket.
