Sorry for the inactivity on this story, wasn't sure if anyone was interested, a couple of managers became inactive when asked to submit XIs.
Am keen to continue if I can find managers willing to stay interested, one or two XIs a week is probably all I'm asking.
About to sim the South Africa 'A' v Pakistan T20 match and attempt to continue this if there is enough interest.

Indian Board XI v West Indies A - T20 match 1991/2 - Sector 16 Stadium, Chandigarh

Pitch: 5 - Normal

Weather: 3 - Some cloud about

Toss: Indian Board XI

Indian Board XI won the toss, and despite some good hitting by Dighe and Joshi, were struggling at 104/9 before an unbroken last wicket partnership of 20* gave them something to bowl at.
The West Indies A generally bowled well, with their spinners in particular enjoying the format.
West Indies A looked good in reply, reaching 59/1 close to the halfway stage, and with wickets in hand should have won it from that point.
Gopal Sharma 4-15 sparked a collapse, and Paris Mhambrey backed up his 4 wicket haul in the 50 over game with another 3 cheap wickets, and the visitors fell short.
Williams and Holder had batted well, but after they were parted only some hitting from Drakes threatened.
Gopal Sharma was named Man of the Match in a 14 run win for the home side.

South Africa A v Pakistan - T20 match 1991/2 - Pretoria

Pitch: 4 - Normal

Weather: 1 - Hot and humid - some assistance for swing bowlers

Toss: South Africa A

South Africa A won the toss, and mindful of the humid conditions, elected to bowl.
It backfired as a powerful innings of 80* from Inzamam-ul-Haq, promoted to number 3, propelled them to 174/6 from their 50 overs, probably a match winning score in these conditions.
Inzamam reached his 50 off 25 balls, and at one stage might have had thoughts of a hundred, but lost the strike a little in later overs.
With captain Imran contibuting 30, and a few others getting starts, Pakistan were never pressured.
None of the South Africa A bowlers stood out in a below par performance.
When South Africa A batted they were immediately in trouble, losing 4 early wickets to Wasim and Imran.
Cullinan threatened at late charge in making an entertaining half century, but with McMillan bogged down at the other end, the Pakistanis were never challenged.
Man of the Match was Inzamam-ul-Haq, his innings having set up a match winning total.

Pakistan won by 33 runs

Man of the Match: Inzamam-ul-Haq

Pakistan 174/6 (20 overs)
(Inzamam-ul-Haq 80*, Imran Khan 30; B.N.Schultz 2-31)

South Africa A 141/5 (20 overs)
(M.W.Rushmere 22, D.J.Cullinan 68, B.M.McMillan 35*; Wasim Akram 2-22, Imran Khan 2-22)

New Zealand A v England A - 3 day First Class match 1991/2 - Dunedin

Pitch: 70

Toss: England

An entertaining match, featuring a number of excellent performances, finished in a draw, though the crowd were mostly entertained by what they saw.
Some good middle order batting allowed New Zealand A from the loss of both openers for ducks in their 1st innings, while a century to Mike Atherton set up an England declaration.
Some good spin bowling by veteran John Emburey was the feature of the New Zealand A 2nd innings, before a declaration saw England set 200 off 43 overs to win on a wearing pitch.
England easily batted out time to leave the match drawn.
Man of the Match was Mike Atherton, his first innings century being the best batting of a match in which the bowlers generally had a good time of it.

Sri Lanka A v West Indies - 50 over List A match 1991/2 - Moratuwa

Pitch: 7B - Low bounce

Weather: 2 - Hot and sunny

Toss: West Indies

West Indies won the toss and batted first, and all their batsmen spent time in the middle in a confident display.
After Haynes 78 and Simmons 35 added 77 for the first wicket in 100 balls, Lara raced to 62 to off 44 balls in the later overs to give the innings momentum.
With the lower order and tail striking the ball well, West Indies made 269/7 off their 50 overs, despite the odd ball keeping low, a score that seemed a matchwinning one at that point.
Muralitharan bowled well to take 3-43, but received little support, Labrooy the best of the others with a couple of expensive wickets.
Sri Lanka A lost a couple of early wickets in reply, but Atapattu 74 and captain Tillakaratne 94 batted superbly to take the home side close.
Late wickets in an inspired spell by Patterson, who took a match winning 4-40 in a Man of the Match performance, stalled momentum, and gave the West Indies a deserved 21 run victory.
The home side had run them close and provided superb entertainment, raising hopes of a close Test and ODI series later in the tour.

West Indies won by 21 runs

Man of the Match: B.P.Patterson

West Indies 269/7 (50 overs)
(D.L.Haynes 78, P.V.Simmons 35, R.B.Richardson 22, B.C.Lara 62; G.F.Labrooy 2-53, M.Muralitharan 3-43)

Haynes and Simmons were good early, but Lara was probably the difference in the later overs.
Sri Lanka A needed about 34 off 4 overs when Tillakaratne fell to Patterson, but had little chance after that as the tail struggled to lay bat to ball.
Was one of the better games I've simmed for the story so far, some quality batting from both teams in less than ideal conditions.
Will tag each manager in the match summary for their team's in future, thanks CK.

Opener Samuels made 105, and Arthurton 100, and with the other batsmen all contributing the visitors were never troubled.
Jadeja 107 and R.R.Singh 109 replied strongly for the home side, after fast bowler Gray 4-57 had taken early wickets, enabling them to declare.
Rain and bat light eventually forced an early closuring, wiping out the last 15 overs as the home side were making a bold attempt at scoring 200 to win in 42 overs, and leaving the match Drawn.

Indian Board President's XI v West Indies A - 50 over List A match 1991/2 - Lucknow

Pitch: 2 - Good batting wicket

Weather: 2 - Hot and sunny

Toss: West Indies A

West Indies A won the toss, and struggled early, losing 3 wickets despite good batting conditions.
At this point Arthurton 40 joined captain Holder 88 in a partnership that slowly turned the innings around.
With Floyd Reifer hitting out for an unbeaten 36* off 26 balls at the end, the visitors would have been happy with their recovery after at one stage looking like dawdling to about 160.
Allrounder R.R.Singh was the best of the bowlers, claiming 1-11 in his first 7 overs, a hold from which the West Indies A batsmen never really broke free.
Opener Vikram Rathour gave the home side an excellent start with a breezy 73, and with all the other batsmen in form the chase was a breeze.
Ganguly and R.R.Singh finished things off in an aggressive partnership, against an attack which lacked penetration apart from the pace of Gray.
R.R.Singh was named Man of the Match for his allround performance.

Sri Lanka A v West Indies - T20 match 1991/2 - Khetterama Stadium, Colombo

Pitch: 2 - Good batting wicket

Weather: 1 - Hot and Humid

Toss: West Indies

West Indies won the toss and batted first on a good batting wicket for the first T20 of their tour.
Openers Haynes and Simmons raised 47 in the 6th over, before a big hitting 20 in 10 balls from captain Richardson had them in a position of some strength.
The loss of 3 wickets on 83 to spinners Asoka de Silva and Sanath Jayasuriya, including Logie and Hooper for ducks, left West Indies 83/5 and in some trouble.
Lara however was still there, and he cruised to an unbeaten 53* in 42 balls to continue his superb form on tour, again reaching at least a half century.
Keeper Williams and allrounder Winston Benjamin gave handy support, and West Indies totalled 154/6 from their 20 overs and were confident at that point.
Sri Lanka A lost Samarasekera in Walsh's 1st over, but Atapattu and Hathurasingha put the home team on course in an aggressive partnership.
Captain Hashan Tillakaratne, brilliant earlier in the field with 4 catches, then took over, stroking his way to a brilliant unbeaten 54* in 29 balls with 12 fours to give his side victory.
He duly won the Man of the Match award, as Sri Lanka A handed West Indies their first loss of the tour, by 4 wickets with 2.2 overs to spare.
Phil Simmons took 3-23 for West Indies to threaten a close finish, but Tillakaratne, and a couple of big hits from seamer Labrooy saw the home team across the line.

The last wicket pair added 20 to give the Indian Board President's XI something to bowl at with 131/9 off their 20 overs.
In reply West Indies A slumped to 45/5 mostly against the seamers, and from there there was no way back.
Captain Ganguly claimed 3-19 with his medium pace to keep the pressure on, and some late hitting by keeper Browne 26 could only narrow the margin.

West Indies A won an important toss, and lead by 101 to young opener Sherwin Campbell in his 1st game of the tour totalled 332.
The Young Indians slipped to 66/4 in reply, before Dravid 101* and keeper Dahiya 68* added an unbroken 155* for the 5th wicket to enable the home team to declare.
West Indies A scrambled some runs on an uneven pitch in their 2nd Innings before a declaration at Lunch on Day 3 saw the Young Indians set 216 for victory on an uneven and turning pitch.
