Most likely reason Clarke didnt join is he wants to be Australian captian when ponting quits.
So hes doing the right thing by setting a good example to rest of players to follow what cricket australia has said.

Anyway Clarke IMO always decent and team man.And Aussis don't have other option after Ponting.
