IPL boss tells Australians to sign up or else

Hold your guns here, this situation could be sorted in a matter of hours, I think it's a bit of an over-reaction to say it could be the start to the end of International cricket.

But, I guess, if more situations like these crop up, then yes, pray that cricket survives. Stupid BCCI, greedy koonts.

India is ruining the international cricket

That's more like it imo.

Understandably so, but to imagine Cricket ever being about the money was never the case in the past.

The BCCI with all its money will be given the Aussie team by the ICC. So weak. The Aussie players are rich enough, only retired players will go

Have you even heard or read what Aussie players say on this?

alot of aussie players also see this is a chance of making history, being a part of a series that changes world cricket.
Just like when world series cricket came in.

Dont think any current aussie players will be joining as they get paid well enough playing for Aus an will be banned if they go.

More likely to be star players in our domestic comp and retired players

That's quite contrary to what I've been reading on Cricinfo over the last couple of months. It seems every two weeks there's an article about Gilly wanting to play in the IPL.

Ponting, Symonds amongst others want to play. The only problem was that the ACB and Ponting wanted these IPL 20/20 games recognised officially on the ICC Calender, meaning that series wouldn't be scheduled too closely etc. They were more wary of burn out than anything else, yet its been blown out of all proportion again.
