Is Andrew Flintoff a one series wonder?

flintoff isn't a one series wonder - but i don't think he'll be able to keep playing at the same intensity much longer before he breaks down.

How do you ensure a high scoring cricket game?

Play it in Australia and open the bowling with Andrew Flintoff :D :D

When they played for Australia Under 19s in the late 80s.

They were born in England. The point of that post was to indicate that Australia aren't averse to picking players born in other countries.

Form is based on more than one match Andrew.
Just to remind you, I did say he was one of the best.
I wasn't bagging Flintoff, sure I pointed out he got zero wickets
in the first match, but it doesn't mean I'm bagging him, I just thought
that was strange. Flintoff only getting 1 wicket in the second match
is just as strange, he is supposed to be one of the best, but so far it
doesn't seem he can bowl well in Australia, time will tell us both though.

Vaughan adds more to the team than Batting his captaincy is often faultless.
No offence, but that's bollocks mate.
If that were true he wouldn't have had so much pressure on him to
step aside, even during the Ashes. Honestly I think Trescothick should
have the job, but that's just my opinion.

KP is a british citizen so he's English, Problem?
Not personally, no. But it's sad England can't find a talent like him
in it's own country so they wouldn't need KP in the side,
being half Pom myself, I'd prefer a Brit, but if England doesn't have
the talent in its reserves, so be it.

We could go into all Australians being European/African descendants if you want?
Not sure why you brang this up, but I'm half Brit, half Scott and 70% of
Australians have European background, we all know this, so if you want
to be silly enough to do so, go ahead mate. ;)

Take care dude...

In my opinion one of the main reasons why England is going so good right now is Michael Vaughan's captaincy - no doubt about it. Haven't you noticed ever since Nasser Hussain stepped down and Vaughan was appointed that England have been on the up and continue to rise? And when did he ever have pressure on him to step aside... he won the fricken Ashes!! something that hasnt been done by an England captain since Mike Gatting back in 86/87. So yeh if that is true that SOME people were putting pressure on him to step aside.. thats just ridiculous to be honest.

It has not been vaughan. it has been players like flintoff, pieterson, strauss and harmison that have got em where they are right now. Vaughan is a ok batsman and average captain. He did not win them the ashes. Ponting is far better.

You've got that right, Moza1... :)

Being a good captain means nothing if you don't have the skill of players
like Flintoff, etc. Would Ricky Ponting be the best national captain in the
world without the players we've got, the answer is no.
So sorry Vaughan_Fan, you're wrong.

Well Ponting didnt do very well in the ashes, like the toss at edgbaston!
So what, he made a mistake, has Vaughan never made a mistake
in his captaincy career before?, if you think he hasn't, you're a fool.

that was one bad series for the aussies of late so what, we thrashed you in the ODIS and were thrashing the world

Im not saying that Vaughan hasnt made a mistake, same with ponting. I just dont agree that ponting is faaaar better than Vaughan as a captain.Vaughan captaincy over the last 2 years has been great.
