The Coca-Cola Khaya Majola U19 week is the tournament that all young cricketers dream of taking part in.

This is where the country’s future stars show the skills they have learned over all the years of playing schools cricket.

The top provinces take part and the competition is extremely tough with a strength vs strength format.

If you perform exceptionally well here, there is the possibility of being selected for the SA Schools side or the Schools Colts team.

The top performers in those chosen teams also stand a good chance of being chosen for the SA U19 squad and from there on your cricket career can only go on to bigger things

That's the end of the game and Tzaneen Lions Academy wrap up a massive victory winning by 7 wickets. Eastern Province Academy was never in the game but that is more down to Tzaneen Lions Academy's excellent performance than it was the former's poor effort. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. Swing and seam benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Tzaneen Lions Academy proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory.
