I was thinking of making changes to my middle order, but seeing that the pitch is flat, i'll give them a shot at finding form. If someone doesn't do well in this match, he'll be out (except Papenfus).

(The same with the previous cup final..), Simulators take the previous performance of the players in count, since you changed the simulators the players who performed in the CSA matches are not performing the same.. I think its something to note down for the future progress of the league...

What a finish! A nail-biter to the very end. Well played to both teams, but in the end, there can be only one winner. Westerns under 19's will breathe a sigh of relief after today's match and will be hoping to be more authoritative in the next one. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. All of the disciplines benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Westerns under 19's proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory.

And so the game draws to a tame conclusion with Chevrolet Knights under 19's claiming an impressive victory by 3 wickets. A solid, if unspectacular performance there by Chevrolet Knights under 19's and they will no doubt want to build on the foundation laid today. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. All of the disciplines benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Chevrolet Knights under 19's proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory.

And so the game draws to a tame conclusion with Gauteng under 19's claiming an impressive victory by 5 wickets. A solid, if unspectacular performance there by Gauteng under 19's and they will no doubt want to build on the foundation laid today. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. All of the disciplines benefited greatly throughout the day. Northerns under 19's really were on a hiding to nothing. They were never expected to win today against Gauteng under 19's and that's exactly how it played out.

How good was JD Wet in this match ? He gets 2 wickets with good ER and makes a 50 too. Wow.. Xolo was equally amazing in the bowling department. He kept the pressure on our opponents by bowling those tight overs. 186 was a good total, but in this flat pitch, it was definitely gettable. Liam Smith looked good, but his partners were putting pressure on him. The captain played a decent knock but it was JD Wet who led the team today. Finishing blow by Klein and Kroukamp is another positive thing we are happy about.

Update: Unfortunately we are stuck with the wide issue! It's not fun for me either, I can not even blame the inexperience of the youth for this. Please bare with me for the remainder of the Khaya Majola Week. The next addition of this League (International) will most definitely be on another simulator!

Some serious changes to some line-ups to be made in order to catch up with the leaders.
