What a finish! A nail-biter to the very end. Well played to both teams, but in the end, there can be only one winner. Easterns under 19's will breathe a sigh of relief after today's match and will be hoping to be more authoritative in the next one. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. All of the disciplines benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Easterns under 19's proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory.

And so the game draws to a tame conclusion with Gauteng under 19's claiming an impressive victory by 5 wickets. A solid, if unspectacular performance there by Gauteng under 19's and they will no doubt want to build on the foundation laid today. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. All of the disciplines benefited greatly throughout the day. Gauteng under 19's was expected to win this game and they duly obliged. It's been a good team performance all things considered.

And so the game draws to a tame conclusion with Northerns under 19's claiming an impressive victory by 29 runs. A solid, if unspectacular performance there by Northerns under 19's and they will no doubt want to build on the foundation laid today. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. All of the disciplines benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Northerns under 19's proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory.

Wow. We did a great job in screwing up the bowling department. 232 was never a chaseable one. Disappointed with our performance.

The scores will go back to normal, all bowlers control has been improved, after spending hours last night trying to resolve the wide issue. Wide issue however is not resolved :mad Lets say the bowlers is tired of getting the short end of the stick, especially after the 100 scored. The next half of the tournament will be more evenly balanced, no more getting scores past 200!
