What does this pitch mean?

It's not an actual pitch type, it's an override. Meaning the sim overrides the normal pitch type to another type. We've had various overrides here to try and reduce the amount of extras. On Normal, Dry & Flat we see scores past 200, which in this format is unreal; even for a virtual league. Override Spicey, gives a more balance between bat & bowl, which is "in my opinion" what we need. As I said before, all the pitches in use during this tournament favor Swing & Seam, at least with this override all bowlers get an equal opportunity.

What a finish! A nail-biter to the very end. Well played to both teams, but in the end, there can be only one winner. Chevrolet Knights under 19's will breathe a sigh of relief after today's match and will be hoping to be more authoritative in the next one. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. Seam benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Chevrolet Knights under 19's proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory. What a finish! A nail-biter to the very end. Well played to both teams, but in the end, there can be only one winner. Northerns under 19's will breathe a sigh of relief after today's match and will be hoping to be more authoritative in the next one. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. Seam benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Northerns under 19's proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory. And so the game draws to a tame conclusion with Gauteng under 19's claiming an impressive victory by 25 runs. A solid, if unspectacular performance there by Gauteng under 19's and they will no doubt want to build on the foundation laid today. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. Seam benefited greatly throughout the day.
