What a finish! A nail-biter to the very end. Well played to both teams, but in the end, there can be only one winner. Westerns under 19's will breathe a sigh of relief after today's match and will be hoping to be more authoritative in the next one. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. Swing and seam benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Westerns under 19's proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory. A solid, if unspectacular performance there by Easterns under 19's and they will no doubt want to build on the foundation laid today. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. Seam benefited greatly throughout the day. What a finish! A nail-biter to the very end. Well played to both teams, but in the end, there can be only one winner. Gauteng under 19's will breathe a sigh of relief after today's match and will be hoping to be more authoritative in the next one. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. Spin benefited greatly throughout the day. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said Gauteng under 19's proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory. Wow. That waas one epic batting collapse. Didn't expect that. Bowlers were pretty good, but it was horrible batting. It's safe to say we are out of tournament but looking forward to exit the tournament with high note.
