Guardians of the Galaxy - easy 10/10

An unabashed fun-filled entertainer, with a lot of soul. Excellent space action and a gem of a soundtrack. But the best part was the effort that went into character development - you knew exactly why the Guardians were doing what they were doing. And also the motives of the bad guys was well defined. And the show stealer was the connection between Groot and Rocket.

The whole movie is very fresh when compared to the recent movies (which were excellent themselves). MARVEL strikes gold again .. they seem unstoppable

Was set to see it last Thursday, some shit came up, kept me busy through the weekend and every waking minute of this week has been a living hell, been contemplating just going and seeing it alone, Marvel is an addiction.

You have no idea how many times I've watched that video since Marvel released it, especially the bit from 5:15 - "I will bathe the starways in your blood."

You left out Godzilla, but this definitely was the best year for superhero films yet, just and I mean just usurping 2008.

That's true - Godzilla was actually really good as well. But those 5 movies I mentioned pretty much make up my top 5 list this year.

Watched 7th Day & Ring Master, I'd rate both the movies 10/10 as I was extremely bored and got a relief viewing it. Although both the movies were great, 7th Day was a bit tragedy while the other one were extremely comic.
