Avengers : Age of Ultron - Overrated.

The plot just heads in the same direction.

*SPOILERS*

They introduced Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. They hated the avengers at first but ultimately became the avengers even though Quicksilver died! (but not for long). The S.H.I.E.L.D at the end rather than coming at an important time, Tony Stark becomes Iron Man again!?! (After what he did in IM3, I thought it ended there.) Scarlet Witch should have been more beautiful like this.

My Marvel movies rankings :

  1. Captain America : The Winter Soldier :thumbs <3
  2. Marvel's The Avengers
  3. Guardians of the Galaxy

Iron Man 1 still tops the list for me. Followed by The Avengers and The Winter Soldier.

Thank god! theres someone else who doesnt overrate Guardians. I put it at no. 3 so that I wont get all that hate saying GOTG was great you dumb....

Though I watched Iron Man 1 in bits and pieces, it was pretty good. But was soon faded by the legendary The Dark Knight which was released the same year.

Haha. I actually love GOTG - watched it twice in theaters. But it still ranks below those 3 movies I listed for me. And would hardly ever hate on someone for not liking it as much lol

And Iron Man has special value because I went into the movie not knowing what to expect. Had no idea what or who Iron Man was as I was never into comic books myself. I only knew Spiderman/Hulk from Marvel and Batman/Superman from DC before the movies happened. So going in with no info, I was absolutely blown away by how brilliant and entertaining the movie was - it sucked me into the whole MCU thing.

Same here. Not hated it but it will be on that 4 or 5th spot.

I was not better than most of other comicbook movies but it was different from others. That whole space thingy with only one human was never done before..(forget Green Lantern)

You know the first time I heard about the Avengers movie, I was searching for Superman because I remembered the old Justice League cartoons. But slowly learned that, Marvel and DC were two different universes....

I love Cap movies. They are the best Marvel movies. Cant wait for Civil war!

Piku was fantastic

I was pleasantly surprised with We are the Millers. Dint expect it to be that entertaining

Mad Max Fury Road : Amazing experience that needs to be witnessed on the big screen. Tom Hardy was pretty good, although despite being Mad Max, he was almost playing second fiddle to an absolutely badass Furiosa (Charlize)

Movie is basically a 120 minute long car chase with a couple of breaks in between. Sounds boring, but it is an absolute thrill ride. No shaky camera, no excessive CGI, 80% natural stunts, rustic yet colorful visuals. A violent poetry

That's not beautiful, that's just hot, and yet another case of a female comic book character being objectified, also if you're going to mention spoilers, use actual spoiler tags... :rolleyes

This isn't the jokes thread but...

Yesterday I went to see 'Mad Max: Fury Road' with my friends in New Delhi. There were spectacular collisions, vehicles piling-up on one another, chaos reigned supreme and death and destruction was all around!

Then we finally reached the movie theatre.

Project Almanac [2014]... It is good movie... if you like time machine kind of stuff, than you must watch it, I rate 8/10...

Focus [2015]... Will Simth / Good Story / Good Movie... Must Watch, I rate 8/10...

Kingsman: The Secret Service [2014]... One of the best movie seen in recent time... Another must watch movie... and don't miss it, I rate 9/10...

Looking forward to the new Mad Max (Hardy the best choice for the role), new Jurassic Park and new Poltergeist.

The last 2 films I saw and I can’t believe I am sharing this one but Shaun the sheep movie, it was good and I am fully grown man. The 2nd was the trouble with curve which was ok but a bit predictable more like the trouble with Clint Eastwood’s voice he was talking like batman and he did that in Gran Torino too.

Saw 10 minutes of Jupiter Ascending and turned it off it was that bad. Same applies to the new avengers saw the start some chase in the snow think it was Captain America flipped this motorbike like it wasn’t showing off to begin with, just the same old stuff new bad guy.
Way too many comic book films or Hunger games rip off related themes lately.

American Sniper (2015)

Very good movie, based on a true story too which I didn't even realise until the end.
