Battlestar Gallactica: Blood & Chrome

Switched this one off with 40 minutes to go, just wasn't doing anything for me. The camera work was really shoddy too.

I've just bought Fury (2014) on blu ray so we'll see how that goes...

Fury (2014)

Very good movie, acting was spot on, plenty of action. There was one scene however which seemed to drag on forever (those that have seen this movie will know) the ending was a bit emotional too.

Was OK but the ending was just ridiculous. Definitely over hyped.

Fury

The part when the tank breaks down and a scout sees a patrol German SS and there is approx 50 men. Yet they defend the tank and the Germans run up to the tank to be shot? It was a bit like Rambo in the 80s that part. The Germans didn’t use any tactics and they were not normal infantry. And took hours to walk up a road that the American scout didn’t. I thought that let it down plus at the time the Germans had superior tanks and they engage a tiger and win too easy by hitting the back end. It could have been a much better film but wasn’t very realistic.

Just watched an Indian movie 'Vedam'. I had a real tough time catching up with Hindi subtitles of this regional language movie but I kind of like the second half of the film. Very different from what I expected an Indian movie to be like.

Fantastic. Cruise in full form .. he is running, getting beaten up, doing his stunts and chases and punching through the bad guys. And to top it off, Rebecca Ferguson is there as the strongest female character in the series yet. Brilliant entertainment and just what is expected off a summer blockbuster.

Needs to be viewed on the big screen
