Dr. Pepper's second game in charge for Leeds and it's against Darren Ferguson's Peterborough. Pepper will see Saivet and Carboni play for the first time in a Leeds Utd kit. Both players are capable of causing a big threat to Peterborough. This should be a close encounter but we shall see. Dr. Pepper sent out a message to his players that if they don't give 100% they won't be able to play. Let's see if it got through to them.

Player to watch: Henri Saivet-
Set to make his debut, the French teenager should have a big impact on the game.

Full Time Analysis
A dominant performance from Peterborough in the whole game but it wasn't enough to beat a dedicated Leeds side. Peterborough had the game in their grasp but it snatched away with an 86th minute strike from Leon Constantine. The striker came of the bench and netted the winner making his pre-season record 2 in 2. Paul Huntington led the Leeds defence, stopping everything Peterborough threw at him. Unfortunately the rest of the defence couldn't follow his fine example. Saivet gave an adequate performance but was subbed off aswell as Beckford and Carboni. Constantine, Flo and Westlake replaced the trio. The other debutant Carboni played well and anchored the midfield well but was easily overrun at times.

Man Of The Match: Jonathon Douglas-Gave a great performance in midfield. Made some key passes including the one for the goal. A great leader of the team.

Key Man Watch: Henri Saivet-Gave a mediocre performance. He could've done better by finishing some chances but did fairly well. He made some good runs but wasn't able to score.

Leeds Sign S?nchez
Dr. Pepper has made his 3rd signing for Leeds Utd. Manu S?nchez has been confirmed a Leeds Utd player. The 29 year old winger has signed from Hercules for ?3.6 million. Some may be questioning Pepper's spending spree but he has been backed up by chairman Ken Bates. The reason Leeds have a 15 point deduction is due to administration and now Pepper is spending more. Fans have argued the logic in that but Bates said "We have the financial backing to sign these players. There will not be a repeat of before."

i've decided to stop doing reports for the remaining friendlys. that way we'll get to the important league games.

godo work mate and Saivet should be awesome ;)

good luck and kutgw -- get David Amoo on loan :)

i've considered it but i have constantine and saivet who are doing great pre-season. beckford and flo fill in quite well aswell so i don't really need him to be honest

Westlake joins Bristol
Leeds Utd central midfielder has put pen to paper with Bristol City. 24 year old Ian Westlake has finally joined Bristol City. Negotiations for a fair price for the 24 year old had been going on for over a month and he has finally joined Bristol City for a fee of ?450k. Westlake arrived at Leeds in 2006 from Ipswich for ?400k. Leeds have made a hefty profit of ?50,000 from him and Dr. Pepper wasn't to dissapointed at Westlake leaving. "He wanted to leave, because of that I wanted him to leave to. I've said it before and i'll say it again if you don't give 100% for Leeds, you won't play. He has left and his career is gone, wiped out. As far as i'm concerned Ian Westlake never played for Leeds Utd Football Club."
