To be clear, No special teams. ROW Asia11 etc. only test playing nations can be selected. Also no custom field settings.

I hope everybody is clear on these rules, and remember, home team is host and can alter the settings to their liking.

I have a suggestion with one of the rules. I think we should allow custom fields, the pre sets are crap and I dont know any of them. Please allow custom fields and maybe place restrictions on how many on off side etc.

Sometimes I want to add a slip and you cant do that in the pre sets without dramatically changing other parts of the field.

Please consider this,

I just feel that using presets is not cricket, I like to be able to order my fielders around, set traps etc. I understand you dont want people placing all the fielders on the off side, but it is unfair to punish those who play fairly too. Its just not cricket, whoever designed the pre-sets does not know anything about cricket.

Please amend the rule to say "you must have 3 on the leg side" or something similar. I have already signed up so I will finish this league, but I do not think I would play in season 2 if we had to use the crappy presets.

Just my opinion.

The LegendsT20 has now started. The first result has been submitted.

It seems that there was some connection problems in the match played between amjad9 and nightprowler10. Here's to hoping that this is/was a one off. I understand how frustrating it can be when lag is involved.

I have assumed everyone participating has a solid connection, we all know that sometimes lag can occur even with two high spec broadbands. The situation will however be reviewed if bad connections continue to destroy the enjoyment of this tourney. Please notify me when such events happen.

One suggestion I'd like to make here is that if lag is being experienced, pause the game and let the other player know you're having a problem. We're all gentlemen here and just like in real cricket I'm sure a gentleman's agreement can be reached without any hassle under such circumstances.

RE: Custom fields. I think its better to keep it simple and stick to non-custom fields, of course its not my decision.

The thing is a an over may pass without a problem, but then you get a ball which lags and your out. Then again you wont have a problem for another over or 2, and you think the connection is good, but then you'll get terrible lag again and you lose another wicket.

this is an online game, so lag might come thu but we can probably make a rule that if more than 2 wickets fall because of lag then we can rematch or something

Agree with xtremexedesix, most games have the odd lag, but when it happens two or more times, and they result in losing wickets, its a big impact on a result and I'm sure none of us would want to win in this way.
I for one, would have no problem in restarting the game.
As i think we have a good set of gamers here, i can't see us having two many problems resolving any issues that could come up in a game.

Yep gud rule to have,
As long as both parties agree for a rematch and within a certain number of overs of the 1st innings, say a maximum of 8 overs as you dont want to waste too much time. Predomantly if it lags in the 1st innings it will lag in the 2nd therefore decision made within 8 overs of the 1st innings perhaps?

glad to see we are being adult and discussing our problems. Pressumably lag would be the same for both parties, therefor if both parties decide to replay the match, that seems an honest answer. Not sure if the lag would be any better after a restart though? maybe the rematch could be scheduled for off peak times if it's possible.

Concerning the rules. I plan not to change anything atm. I certainly don't want to offend anyone, but i think it's nice to have some variety between the different tourneys running

Also, I am self employed, and the phone has gone nuts this week, and probably next week too ($$$). I will however try to find time to update the scores etc as much as I can.
