It varies from mod to mod. In the Smurfs mafia, I gave the option to the Godfather that he could choose someone else to perform the kill. But with a catch though. That person could not perform their own night role (if they had one).

Think Pokemon mafia had the same rule. Can't remember though.

That would be my understanding - that if they had another night role, they would lose it for that night. Which is why the godfather would tend to share the role mainly with 'goons'.

Yeah, in HP Mafia, Voldemort didn't kill at all even though he was the leader (Don't think he even had a role).

Still you wanted to win it. You were soooo overpowered. Couldn't be killed till at least 3 other people were dead. But, as I always say, that was the game I personally enjoyed the most. May have to do with the role I got.

I think Aditya was going to do Tennis Mafia and anyone who fancies can run a 5-man police academy mafia.

I suggest you see if MaD and Varun are ready to start either of theirs as Scooby Doo looks fairly close to endgame.

I'm not starting my game anytime soon. Probably late October/early November. And I'll probably do a World Leader's mafia, so if anyone's willing for a grammy one, he's all free to go for it.

In Pokemon mafia, anyone could perform the kill, but they couldn't use their roles, and also had a slight chance to miss (about 30%).

Haha this. My uni bus has this game going each and everyday. 18 of us taking part, comprising off 5 mafias, highly entertaining stuff.

I am going to introduce my friends to the game as well, but besides school, we don't meet much in-person.

After playing a bunch of games I decided I wanted to try modding my own. Hence I've created an 18 player Wild West themed mafia with all the characters created by me and mafia provided with fake claims. Due to this, I hope there will be much more emphasis on anaylsing play style and the write-ups rather than just pressurising someone until they claim a confirmed townie character, then moving on to someone else.

Just make sure that you filter out and select player who you'll sure will be active and contributing. Too many inexperienced players, and rather than analyzing to improve their game, they'll role claim, sit back and relax, like what happened in Survivors and Smurfs mafia games. Both games, especially the latter, were meant to improve analysis skills, but we got an entirely contrary result. No activity.

I will definitely be picking players I feel will be more active and will be pretty ruthless with replacing inactive people.

Don't do that Colin. Not everyone are good at it. Surely, one person will be able to tell you better. It's been a while I was mafia. I'd want to be one. But, I've loved all the roles I've got so far. Jack of all, I'll bag that one.

Night immune? That's hardly been seen along with a SK. You might want to be a GF then.

Trouble with GF is having to work with people who claim already-claimed characters.
