It's good to see selectors rewarding domestic form and Parthiv has been in amazing form in domestic cricket. However, most of his runs came at the top of the order and Indian team has a settled top order so it will be interesting to see how he performs down the order. Or they will have to move Rohit down at 4 to fit Parthv at the top which is very unlikely.

That's not happening. If anyone's going down the order, Rahane will pick their place. And I don't know why Uthappa or Saha hasn't being picked. They both can play good shots down the order. I think Parthiv wont play either. They have selected him just as a precaution in case MSD comes down with hi injury suddenly. Hope he will be fine.

Dramatic turnaround by India. After having lost Shikhar, Virat and Suresh for low scores, and Rohit batting slow, I thought they'd end up with a low total. Hardik Pandya came to India's rescue and accelerated the scoring rate with Rohit.

This is what India should have done in Pune against Sri Lanka. We committed harakiri there even though we lost quick wickets. Today, Rohit and Yuvraj bided out time and stabilized India. I wont blame Yuvraj much today because he was part of a stabilizing period. Rohit was outstanding today, probably one of his best ever innings since it came on a green pitch. Rohit just makes it so so tough for Rahane but I am not complaining. Pandya was stunning, he is surely going to be very crucial for India in the T20 World Cup. I hope India have finally found that lower middle hitter who can change tempo effortlessly. And really good stuff from the comeback man, Nehra.

India's engine is continuing to be well oiled. But hope India dont get complacent, I pray!

One of the better inning played by Rohit Sharma. Since he was losing partners on the other side but still he was able to keep his calm and make the most of the opportunity that he got. Still feel that Rohit and Rahane opening would be able to provide more consistent start but I feel that Dhoni doesn't want to tinker too much with the team now. Good to see Yuvraj getting some time in the middle and also nice to see Hardik doing what he does well.

For Rohit to bade time out in testing conditions and then open up and smash the opposition (in their home ground, Bangladesh is currently good opposition) is a fantastic thing. He is riding a huge wave of confidence now, having cemented his place in the side in the shorter formats as opener. And he is reaping benefits of that.

I dont understand why Yuvraj can't bat ahead of Raina. People who take time to warm up before they start changing gears, need to bat ahead. Yuvraj in his current form needs time to get going. He should bat ahead of Raina. Also with Raina, Pandya, Dhoni and Jadeja behind him, Yuvraj can play with a lot of freedom.

I doubt Bangladesh would do it for the India v Pakistan game. After all, they have a bigger rivalry with Pakistan than with India. I hope they side with us.
