NewZealand = England
Sri Lanka = Has been good for fast bowlers in recent history. Watch other bowlers performance also.
Pakistan = Dont remember. Actually remember Plunkett doing well there.

oh ok. Where is it that he can perform and it can be meaningful?

No, he's pretty good

Taylor is only good for t20s and sometimes in ODIs... even if he plays good innings in test matches he tries to score them very quickly which is not the mentality any batsman should have...

He is not doing anything for NZ in the natwest series... he couldn't even bat well in the t20 match...

Let him play for while. Just feel hes rated more like all Indian rookies. Cant people just allow young cricketrs to play peacefully.

thats because senior players are playing tricks... they make sure young players dont make it at the interational level until they have retired...

i'm with you on letting him play peacefully but that doesn't mean you just completely down his ability

I dont think hes answer to Flintoff. Too much hype can make him into Irfan.

actually i personally think broad has improved a lot after getting smacked by yuvraj for 6 sixes... 2008 is turning out to be a good year for him...

Taylor has played 8 Test Matches, he has scored two hundreds and four 50's. With a highest score of 154*, he also averages over 40. But yeah he is only a 20/20 player, and a sometimes good ODI player. You should actually watch a player play before making a judgement on them.

i know man... i watched the match where he scored 154*... but i guess he scored it off 180 deliveries with few sixes as well... what i meant was his mentality is of a t20 player.. whenever he tries to defend he gets tired and he wants to go for big shots again... and that makes him a slogger...

He doesn't always slog, though, he is a good batsman. Unlike a certain Pakistani...

Yeah I know what you mean thats just how he plays. Hopefully as he gets older he will tone it down abit when he first gets out to the middle.

I don't know about calling him a slogger though, he has most shots covered, he just loves the big legside heave.
