Looking forward to this one!

Hope Gayle actually plays, should be a tough series. Injuries plaguing the Windies at the moment, hopefully they don't sustain anymore in the 3rd test.

Interesting article here, historically there's been absolutely nothing between the teams.

The two T20s start this weekend and here are the squads.

West Indies squad: Darren Sammy (capt), Samuel Badree, Dwayne Bravo, Johnson Charles, Fidel Edwards, Chris Gayle, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Denesh Ramdin, Ravi Rampaul, Marlon Samuels, Lendl Simmons, Dwayne Smith.

New Zealand Twenty20 squad: Rob Nicol, Martin Guptill, Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor (capt), Daniel Flynn, Dean Brownlie, BJ Watling (wk), Tom Latham, Jacob Oram, Nathan McCullum, Andrew Ellis, Kyle Mills, Doug Bracewell, Tim Southee, Ronnie Hira.

I guess this would be as close to a full strength T20 squad as the WI have had in a while. Only one missing is Andre Russell

Yea that is the best possibly windies squad. Just the wrong captain.

Unusual that Russell isn't their indeed.

wow Oram, pathetic. A walking injury.

On the bright side the attendance at the stadium is amazing. Pushing 20 000 people.

That Gayle/Pollard partnership is why Windies are T20 WC favourites. Don't think any bowling attack can conceivably stop the windies if Gayle bats through an innings and Pollard is their to finish like that.

Individually Malinga, Steyn, Ajmal could outfox them maybe however.

NZ very rusty, they are lucky Vettori has decided to return to their squad for the T20 World Cup.

Gayle
Smith
Simmons/Charles
Samuels
DW Bravo
Pollard
Russell
Sammy
Ramdin
Narine
Rampaul/Edwards

Charles/Simmons
Rampaul/Edwards
Badree/Benn
Cooper/Roach

Such a potential T20 world cup squad once all are fit is pretty dynamic.

Can't believe I missed such an high scoring game for a family thing, Gayle 86* too, FML. The 2 games are being played 5 hrs or so from me and I'm missing out, I'd go tomorrow, but we've got the Euro 2012 final, so yeah, opportunity missed.

Did hear some of my friends went, lucky bastards.

Well played West Indies but we were an absolute disgrace tbh, didn't even look like they wanted to be out there. Hopefully Oram is injured and out of the tour, makes me sick just looking at the dude these days. He continues to get a free pass for no reason at all, shouldn't have been anywhere near this squad in the first place. I don't want the guy in the blackcaps anymore.

So apparently Oram is injured, Ross Taylor is ruled out for ODI's too and Hira is ruled out too :p

This tour should have been called New Zealand A's tour of West Indies for 2 T20s

Hahah, yes very funny:noway. I doubt 3 or so players warrant the label. If its anything NZ looked a bit rusty, its been a while since theyve played international cricket, its only T20, I expect a competitive ODI series.
