You have a point, however from NZ's perspective it's a big deal. India did a similar last wicket draw in England once in 2007.

But please to see our middle-lower order show some fight finally. 50-5 to 200+ in the 2nd Innings is commendable. We can talk about showing intent all we want but the rearguard action was the reason we were able to get to a winning position. Otherwise it would have been 0-1 easily.

And our seamers.

But then we cannot ignore the contribution of Pujara at Lord's and at The Oval. And neither we can keep Kohli out since we are obsessed to have one batsman who probably gets rated one of the best in the world. So in the same way, it is going to be tough to leave out Rahane. Yes, India does need an overhaul in the line-up but it's not like that we need it at this very hour. Tough on Shreyas but he has to make way for Kohli and we cannot do anything about it. These guys are going to play till the time they are there.
