Injury Woes for Australia​

Nathan Bracken , australia's most economic bowler has been ruled out from the 2nd one dayer against New Zealand is also doubtful for the third one dayer..He injured his left thumb while doing catch practice in the nets...The Australia Cricket Board has said it is a minor fracture ...Bracken is set to miss the 2nd match as well as the Relief Fund Match against World XI....

Other injury worries for Australia are that Mitchell Johnson is suffering from a side strain but is certain to play the 2nd match...Brad Hodge is also suffering from hamstring injury and is doubtful for the 2nd ODI...

Shaun Tait the 24 yr paceman is certain to make his comeback in the second ODI...

gr8 update.....Australians can trouble the openning of the New Zealand

Vincent was partnered by McCullum...McCullum who was in good nick was asked to open the batting..Lee opened the bowling for the Aussies..Lee and Tait were bowling in the right spots and were troubling Vincent with the swing..but on the other hand McCullum was playing some delightful strokes around the ground..But soon Brett Lee not only got rid of Vincent but also got rid of McCullum..Both trying to drive and were caught in the covers and extra cover respectively...Suddenly pressure was on NZ..Jamie How and Ross taylor played some good shots against Brett Lee and were kept quiet by good spell by Shaun Tait...Taylor and How have made 50 runs between them...

How and Taylor were playing some superb but sensible strokes...while Brett Lee was fast but inaccurate but Tait was bowling a very decent line and length...Soon How and Taylor raised a 50 runs partnership between them..How was playing some really good drives...while Taylor was playing sensible cricket and rotating the strike....

Just when How was looking dangerous ...Brett Lee strikes... How trying to drive a ball out side off stumps and was caught by Symonds in the covers...A good innings came to an end..From then the NZ collapse started...Scott who raised a lot eyebrows when he came in to bat didn't last long and was bowled by Johnson on a duck the first ball he bowled..soon Styris was run out due to poor running between the wickets..NZ lost 3 wickets for 7 runs...

Taylor and Oram who came in added a quick 15 runs ...Taylor was bowled by a great yorker from Johnson on 49..A great innings came to and end....Vettori was the next man to come ...NZ in deep trouble 133/6
