Hoggards consistency was second to none.

They showed him vs right handers and not a single ball was down the leg side. (In one of his 6 over spells I believe). Widest was pitching on middle!

There will be light showers tommorow and slightly heavier ones on Monday so it could be a close one for the draw.

I think for once, the weather isn't going to save us here. It's a shame really, if we lose this then Pakistan will take momentum into the ODI's just like Sri Lanka did, and we all know what happened after that.

Dont worry we will have extra power to our bowling anyways ;).

It's not our batting i'm worried about, we were pretty good with the willow versus Sri Lanka. It's our bowling which i'm dreading.

Well we have two days to get England out... We should be able to do that..

If the weather is nice for Pakistan i say a comfortable victory probably wrapped up late tommorow or early monday having to knock off about 70. If not England might scrape a draw. If England have a full day and bat well we could well have an interesting game if we bat 4 sessions, as Pakistan would need about 180-200 then.

Agreed, England need to see of Asif as he is the main dangerman. I don't see any other bowler really troubling the English batsman. If they can and not lose a wicket in the first session than they may obtain some sort of lead, say 150 and it could be a tight game. Anything under 150 would be easy pickings for Pakistan as they probably have one of the best middle order going around.

No spin for Monty. Thought he was going to have an average game.

Pakistan should win this comfortably if the weather keeps away.

Hoggards pitch map was impressive. Harmison was lucky to be credited with 4 wickets really.

Now then, the weather. There were light showers overnight, but the outfield is still firm and the teams have been busily practising all morning so play should get underway on time. The overhead conditions, however, are a little more of a worry. Thick dark clouds all around, and I'd be very surprised if we don't have another stop-start sort of a day.

Thats from cricinfo.

Only 200 over been possible during first 3 days, ~180 overs left in the match. Won't see a full days play due to bad light..The forecast tormorrow is seriously bad.

Could maybe loose 30-40 overs due to conditions. Have a feeling the second New Ball will be the deciding factor in this match.

If England bat well enough they should be able to get a draw out of this one with the weather Gods helping them out. Pakistan will be dangerous in the overcast conditions so will be an interesting finsh.

If Pakistan strike early today, they could be taking the match home. However, if Cook and Strauss settle in, I think this could end up a draw.

Pakistan squad news and it's good news, as Shoaib Malik has been passed fit to return to action ahead of the one-dayers, after missing the Tests with an elbow problem.

Play due to start at 11:15am

Cook's having a bit luck..

caught bat-pad..not given
Bowled leg stump off a no-ball

Hope this continues all day :D

whats up with Doctrove..

he turns down obvious LBW's and edges..then out of the blue gives a complete shocker. (not for the first time this series).
