the only way play will happen tomorrow is if they get 2 new umpires..

Where they gonna get 2 Test Class umpires at 9pm on a Sunday evening?

all this over a bloody scratched ball, discraceful pakistan have massively over reacted this they gave away roughly the same as the ball hitting a helmet left on the pitch. pakistan could of just played on and then denied it after the game massive over reaction over nothing in my opinion

They certainly would have given away more than 5 runs.

Or have you not yet read between the lines? Or heard anyone else speak on the matter?

Well maybe Tesco is doing a 'Buy One Get One Free' offer on Umpires. :p

Serioulsy though, if there is no play tomorrow it'll be a huge shame to all the fans. Drewska has some tickets too I believe.

whats quite funny is..that until the Pakistanis refused to take to the field 99% of the people in the Oval had no idea that they'd been accused of anything.

Most people were totally oblivious to any allegations.

Which shows just how poorly the whole situation was handled.

the words p1$$-up and brewery come to mind..

apparently they're expecting a statement anytime on five-live

If there was ball tampering obviously we will be seeing a major suspension to one of the players. If there wasn't Hair may never umpire again.

England have been awarded the win according to an ECB statement.

That's fine by me! What a performance by England to win from such a desperate situation; We showed some real character to fightback! :p

Didnt think they did tickets for the 5th day of test matches ?

Oh yeah! :p He still has tickets though, which is quite odd.

In other words, he was meant to be at day 5.
