remember when mike gatting protested to shakoor rana, bigots like agnew didnt say gatting should have waited until the end of the game and uphold the spirit of the game. HYPOCRITES

You weren't calling me a hypocrite there were you? Because I believe that Gatting also behaved in an unproffessiona and slightly childish manner.

what happened to the tampering accusation ???

because I really want Hair to be proven wrong and fired

can anyone update ?

WTF is actually going on with the ICC and this Match Refree. Do they have any common sense or not. Hair should be sacked and this is now turning into a matter of national pride rather than just a bloody test match.......

No, otherwise we would have posted about it by now. We are all as eager to find out as you are.

Because a win is a win and it increases our rating points which helps us on our pursuit to be number 1 in the world. Yes it's shallow to accept a victory which has come in thsi manner, but like I said, a win is a win.

Maybe if they had settled this dispute after the game instead of behaving so childishly they would have won.

I agree. It is nothing to do with England that the game ended how it did, it is the fault of either the umpires or the pakistan team. I wonder though, both umpires are supposed to agree on a decision before they follow it through, its either that rule was not followed and Darrel Hair made the decision on his own or that Darrel Hair is getting all the stick when the decision was partly Billy Doctrove's.

now the big question ? will Pakistan play the odi's or go home ?

Of course they will play, the Head Honcho of the PCB has already said that the relations between Pakistan and England are superb, and that this matter doesn't concern them.

They should play imo and try to win the series. Guys like Hair will come and go but Pakistan as a cricketing nation has achieved a lot and should continue on the right path.

i guess u are right...nothing against england..

well we already did lose the series, so im not that disapointed, its good for Pakistan's future, as Hair wont officiate any more of our matches.

I expect Pakistan to be really tough in odi's and win by huge margins..they must be upset after not being able to win this.

I reckon they'll play them. More for financial reasons on both the ECB and the PCB, it would be unfair for people who had bought tickets, and we can safely assume Hair will not be umpiring.

As far as I'm concerned, any England fan who is happy with winning this game in this way should hang their heads in shame. They don't deserve to be called an England fan, and hardly even deserve to be called a cricket fan.
