Just seen it, its utterly disgusting. Typical tabloid paper, as one reader said on the website, they will have to post an apology or it could get libellious. Pakistan could definitely take Metro to court for showing a picture like that.

The picture is pretty damning and I'm still not sure whether to post it or not now I know it isn't actually of the incident in question.

Please post the pic. We would like to see what the media has?

It's not an actual pic of the incident. It's just a picture of a Pakistan player with the ball. I'll PM you the link.
Can u send me that link?

It's hard to tell what he is doing to the ball.

Anyways, according to Afridi, "every team works on the ball". It seems they have to what with every other game being played on flat pitches. He says the English players do it a lot with chewing gums and mints.

Metro has published a picture this morning which I'll not even bother to post. It is an extremely misleading archive pic and not of the incident in question (since no-one saw it).
can you post the picture so we can all have a look we need to see everyside of the arguement:cool:

There are two seperate things here. One is a picture which isn't of the incident from sunday and the other is an interview from Shahid Afridi which my cricinfo contact is telling me he can't report on as the source can't be verified (translation, partial transcript etc.)
I'm trying to get the website that posted it so send me the original video...
