Nah, I think It will look something like this:

Imran Farhat
Shoaib Malik
Inzamam-ul-Haq
Mohammed Yousuf
Younis Khan
Abdul Razzaq
Shahid Afridi
Kamran Akmal
Mohammed Sami
Mohammed Asif
Danish Kaneria
Great team, look whos at First .

Hey man respect the great of great Farhat, Faisal Iqbal = sux.

Read and Dalrymple all advancing their Test claims for England, and injuries to Hoggard, Asif and Kamran Akmal providing moments of concern for the respective team managements.

Looks like it's going to be England A Vs Pakistan A.

Englnad Squad For First Npower Test vs Pakistan:

Andrew Strauss (c)
Marcus Trescothick
Ian Bell
Alistair Cook
Paul Collingwood
Kevin Pietersen
Geraint Jones
Matthew Hoggard
Sajid Mahmood
Steve Harmison
Liam Plunkett
Matthew Hoggard

Nice to see Bell back in the squad, following some good performances in the ODI's. No place for Read and Dalrymple, and as i've said before, Jones in on his last chance.

The selectors have it wrong. Jones has had his chance, 2 years with the gloves, and he has been for the majority a liability, with only a few good innings. We cannot afford to drop these Pakistani batsman, not to mention how shocking he is a keeper to a genuine spinner, heck he even drops/misses stumpings off of Giles.

2 of them to miss out, Colly and Bell to share 5th bowler, maybe a bit of KP aswell, not as effective as Freddie but Colly and Bell are decent enough and KP does turn it.

If Hoggy plays, I hope he does but it will be tight, we wouldn't want the cut (6 stitches apparently so at least an inch long maybe inch and a half) to re-split.

We win the toss and bat 2 days and he'll be fine :D

Saj and Lewis to miss out?

What the hell does Chris Read have to do to get in the England squad?

I can only assume that Gerraint Jones has some incriminating photos of the selectors.

Akmal almost always bats at 8, and anyway they have 3 extra bowlers in Malik afridi and farhat.
Farhat isn't a bowler. I think that this tour is the only time he had bowled at international level. True, he may have got a few wickets, but do you really think he'll trouble the English batsmen at Lords?

A lot of people have included Afridi and Razzaq in their predicted line-ups; whereas I agree with their line-ups and think both the all-rounders should be playing, this is the truth of the matter:

Afridi got dropped from the last Test against Sri Lanka. What makes us think that he'll come straight back into the side at Lords, especially after his poor performances for Ireland and against Scotland. He has been a vital cog in the Pakistani Test team recently, but I reckon the PCB will give Faisal Iqbal the nudge ahead of him.

Razzaq is a bits-and-pieces players: Jack of all trades but master of none. He can provide the Pakistan team with some decent pace, but when you compare his average performances the last few months to Umar Gul's, it's obvious who's been the better bowler. With Rana and Shoaib gone, Pakistan need some extra pace in the bowling department which I reckon Gul can provide. Well, if his recent performances are anything to go by!

However, if Razzaq plays then you need to have Afridi in the side as well, which means bad luck to Faisal Iqbal. The worst thing the PCB can do at this stage is play Razzaq at Lords and not Afridi: You need to have both all-rounders in the side if you want to make it work. If Razzaq plays on his own and fails with the bat, he exposes the tail (Sami, Asif and Kaneria). But if Afridi plays as well then Pakistan has another batsman who can (albiet occasionally) bat them out of trouble.

:D blackmail...

Anyway now Jones is meant to be in the team for his batting (which he is not doing very well at) and Read's batting has improved tremendously and his keeping is still by far the best in England, how can they warrant keeping Raad out?

On SSN this morning, Graveney sounded very Anti-Read, saying things like Jones is the best available. I hope Jones pays him back for his devotion.
