It's funny how I criticise Clarke, and MUFC criticises Read, and they end up giving England a slight chance in a good partnership, good six off of Shoaib.

Who opens the attack for England? Lewis has to to receive his benefits, Broad or Gough?

166 scored, a revised target is about to be set for Pakistan.

Lewis and Broad to open for me..Gough 1st change..

Need 3-4 early wickets..

england bowler bowls maiden...

i didn't think they had it in them..

Malik gone..game on

wicket off a no-ball..could be costly..

give us a break, what else is there to talk about? talking about the teams current positon falls under running commentary too. What are we meant to talk about...

You are meant to discuss the game, not provide a running commentary on it.

Any problems, contact the admin.

England are just not scoring enough to give our bowlers a decent chance. The need to build an innings and keep wickets in hand to score loads at the end.

Lewis bowled beautifully, and Clarke and Read batted well, btu apart from that it was the same old ODI England. We have to perform a hell of a lot better than this if we are to avoid anything less than a 4-0 defeat.

I'd like to see Yardy play instead of JD, JD did well vs Sri Lanka, but just isn't doing enough for me.

Broad played today for the first time at Lords, he struggled.

Pakistan opening bowlers done the damage.

Asif and Akhtar bowled brilliantly first up and it was impossible for England to recover after that, 44-4 I think at one stage. Read and Clarke saved England from being spectators in the second innings. Lewis bowled brilliantly but THAT middle order just took the game away from England. Akhtar fully deserving of MOTM, despite there being other contenders.
