Boo Hoo, finger wagging. Get over it!!!

I love seeing bowlers sending the batsmen off.

Absolutly fantastic bowling from Asif and Akhtar. What a perfect combination. Asif I am sure has a huge sucessful career ahead.

England played crappy again Pure and simple. They don't attack the bowling enough. They don't learn. They may need to find some quicker scoring top order players from county cricket to come in. They don't score at a quick enough rate. They totally waste the powerplay overs.

Finally they use Lewis. I have been waiting for that. I knew he would be the best of all of them (which is why hes in my fantasy team). Gough has been there done that. Not up to standard anymore. Clarke has been alright but he isn't a wicket taker. Dalrymple for some strange reason was never used??? Whats up with that. He hasn't bowled that badly. Broad didn't have the best game.

England just pure and simple suck at ODI's and they have absolutly NO hope at all of making a Champions Trophy final or World Cup Final. There is no way they can turn things around. The England confidance must be very low.

Credit to Pakistan, they totally dominated.

couldnt of said it better:)

So do I, a bit of bravado is needed; But Jones got punished so Asif should be punished as well.

I wouldn't. A little gamesmanship is brilliant to watch. And I don't think he's wrong to show him the pavillion, he's got him out 4 times in a row now.

I'm not surprised we lost in those conditions, as Pakistan have the bowling attack which we don't at the moment. Lewis did a similar job to Asif, yet we lacked another bowler to keep it tight. Why Gough opened I have no idea. It's not going to do Broad's confidence much good when he's been by far the better of the two. Not sure about the timing of KP's slog either. He may have gotten 4 or 6 had it come off, but it surely would have been better to wait to pick off the poorer bowlers. Although I guess that's hindsight for you.

Clarke was superb in my opinion. He picked up runs quite quickly in a tricky situation for him. Read played cameo well, if only he could score more than 30 ;). Our tail was longer than ever though, although Lewis showed why he should be above Gough, as I said, even if his running was poorly judged.

I'm not too worried about how we get on in this series though. The Champion's Trophy or more likely the Ashes series ODI's will be key, to see how well we do. I'd say we were missing our first choice four ODI bowlers yesterday, who could have made a difference.

Lewis' delivery was never a no ball either, so perhaps that could have made it a bit closer.

I personally think it is ridiculous that bowlers get fined for something like that. I remember Akhtar got fined something like half of his match fee for showing Langer the pavillion. I've never seen the Jones one.

I think KP was trying to do the right thing by trying to take advantage of the power play, but to do it against the one guy who has already dismissed you in every match you have played against him isn't the smartest thing to do.

kevin is in quite a form slump isnt he,i think the answer would be to drop him down the order to lets say 6,when asif is having a break so he can come in a play his shots while not having to play a mind battel with asif.

Or maybe our top order should bat properly so he can come in at 4 around the 25 over mark.

That would mean England have no answer to Asif, and it'll only boost his confidence more.

Well the top order arnt performing to well are they, strauss, trescothick and peitersen all having bad series.
Bell is playing quite well but i just dont see him as an odi player, sometimes he scores to slowly.
The english bowlers will also need to improve, goughy isnt having a good comeback and young stuart broards confidence would have been hurt in that last match.
lets all just hope for some good weather and some good all round cricket:)

I totally agree.

Infact Pietersen was at least trying to do something about the run rate. The wrong guy to do it against unfortonatly.

For some reason I have a feeling Cook would combat Asif well. He plays the seamers well and tends to only struggle vs them when they come around the wicket and get him falling over his stumps.

Evo, Good call on SiJos incident last year. Some consistency would be nice in those kind of things.

The ICC and consistency? Somehow I don't think that that's going to happen.

I was wrong about Lewis, he looked real International quality. Still, I think he'll struggle a lot in India and the West Indies.

I don't think he's in any sort of 'form slump'. As recently as the fourth test he smashed 96 and 135 in the third test. He either comes off or he doesn't, I think it really is as simple as that with KP.
