For his standard...

Did you see how he fielded in the last match? At least 3 diving stops in the covers. He is very underrated in the field Inzamam.

He can hold onto to catches that he doesn't have to bend down to but apart from that..

He is surprisingly athletic, i've seen a fair bit of diving stops from him in the past.

its not just about diving stops..its about stopping the singles, being quick on your feet..and fielding well on the boundary, something which we havent done good at all, especially Rana..and also it doesnt help if you have butter fingers Akmal as your keeper.

anyway, the last match is at Oval right..?? the crowd reaction in that game to Pakistan team would be the one to watch! will they boo them off to Pakistan or cheer them.!

Edgebaston.

One of England's favourite grounds, if not the favourite.

Once again we see England fail to dismiss the tail. It really is a problem for them in both Tests and ODIs.

Although Yardy bowled well and they had every right to bowl him through his 10 overs, he can bowl at the death.

And Razzaq and Rana aren't tailenders. Lower Order batsman. Rana has scored hundreds for Sussex and Razzaq is a all rounder. If it'd been Asif and Shoaib on the other hand.

Massively relieved to have won that with such ease and conviction.

Yardy didn't disappoint :D

Seeing Yardy's performance just goes to show that things could have been different if the god-awful Clarke hadn't been playing in his place. All we need is for Mahmood to be dropped for Chapple (:D) and we are half-decent.

I got up from my sleep midway through the match, and then went back to sleep. :p

Good game for England. It should give them a lot of confidence for the next game. If the first match hadn't been rained out, we would've won the series by now. :(

Anyway, I was right about Yardy. He really did prove to be a better choice than all the other newbies. And Razzaq seems to be back to his explosive self, which is very good to see. We yet again saw a change in the opening partnership in Pakistan, which is getting to be a joke to be honest. Leave Malik as an opener. Hafeez has been pretty decent.

Anyway, for those who watched the match, how did Pakistan lose their wickets. Good bowling or bad batting?
