guys check the test match out ... we might be in for something spacial here!!!!! out of the blue sri lankas are starting to get some control in the match

At lunch lankas 262/3 and needing 230 to win in 65 overs with 7 wickets in hand. They need to score around 3.51 per over but they have some fire power in the tank as well. I don’t see much happening in the pitch. Sanga is batting good on 75 and samaraweera is supporting him well on 69. dilshan, mathews, vaas, thushara, kulasekara, herath to bat. Hmmmm I just feel something special is taking place… well just a feeling really

well one thing i like about some much 20/20 and 50over games is; teams now really do think winning a test match is more enjoyble then saving it. so lets wait. only thing sri lankas might be not so sure about is dilshan's fitness. if he was 100% fit, naturally he gets run a ball. hmmmmmmmm

What the recent trend in test cricket is that 400 is no more a safe total to defend in the fourth innings with most pitches being pancakes.

Well played Kumar, brilliant knock; hopefully Sri Lanka can pull this off. You'd think the win's out of the question, but if Mathews hangs around, then the draw's on the cards.

That's the key point. Mathews (and Sangakkara obviously) needs to hang around and take as many runs of the total as possible. We're unsure of how well Dilshan is going to bat, and there is not much left after him.

This is not very good sportmanship from Pakistan i am sorry to say, they are slowing the match down.. 15 over 101 to get with 6 wickets in hand. but cut off time is 40minites away.:::

lankas had no choice, Pakistan was slowing the game down and no way they would have bowled 15 overs in 40min, it could have being a historic day in test cricket ::

Bit disappointed in that really. Sri Lanka could easily have been a bit more positive when they got to the stage where only 149 was needed with six wickets in hand. At least let Mathews open up a bit, and then see where they are after that stage.

amazing effort by the lankans but i think pakistan should have been more aggressive.
