Will be good seeing how Rauf goes, haven't seen him bowl before. This is probably the best match up for Boxing day, Pakistan's gun bowling vs our batters. Big one for me will be Watson v the bowlers early on.

Impressive first ball pace wise for Aamer on Boxing day. When I saw him in NZ his first few overs were in the 130s so 146 to begin is impressive.

Its intriguing to see Aamer hit the mid 140s early on. I feel that he may trouble Katich by his extra pace, especially when Katich strides across his stumps.

Will be interesting to see.

Well tbf he did know that New Zealand were 90-0 after 18 overs in the last test. But he probably only knows that because they were given the scorecard of the last test Pakistan played.

I'm certain thats the case, Taylor especially is terrible in his knowledge of the game.

I know Watson has haters, but surely everyone can appreciate his magnificent strokeplay, he is so correct its ridiculous. Glorious to watch when he drives, full face of the bat, great to watch. He looks 10000% more secure than Katich and Hughes, his only technique fault so far is that lbw thing, but everyone has one or more weaknesses, the bowlers have to be good enough to exploit it. Pakistan looked good in th first hour but Watson was rock solid, great stuff Watto. Katich looks like he is batting on a minefield.
