Do you think Pakistan will look a better team with Misbah back in? How important do you think he is?

Well,Misbah ul haq is the difference between pakistan and sri lanka and the game changer.

Just thinking out loud, I wonder how much captaincy Misbah did from inside the dressing room. Why is a suspended captain allowed to be in there? Because Misbah could still have a lot of influence over tactics, attitude etc. even though he's not the man physically leading on the field. I just wonder how much of a punishment it really is. They missed his batting, but the captain was there in the dressing room at anytime if they needed a spoonful of advice/inspiration.

but in field he was needed.bieng in dressing room and onfield has alot of difference.the way he use his bowlers.anything can happen in the next match.he would have batted till a draw.we all are with misbah.

If that is the standard of umpire then thinking of applying for this job now on serious note this is unacceptable there are excuse of bad umpire plus misbah is not on team but is this that kind of team who should lose by 210 runs answer is no.just watched the sports program yesterday they highlight that main problem is domestic of pakistan because here its all batting pitches for example look at M.Ayub new batsman who score thousands of year in domestic and in international circuit they cant score .so the problem is of domestic as well it should be bowling wickets rather than have wickets to entertained few crouds

Lot's of questionable decisions (that mostly favoured the home team) given by the neutral umpires. No DRS of any sort to aid the teams to redress the balance. It's not really on in this day and age. Anyway, happy for Mahela and good efforts from Nuwan Kulasekera (back in the Test side), Rangana Herath and MoM Sangakkara who's back in form after a sticky patch against England.

.as soon misbah was not going to play the first test match i knew we would definately lose.yes you are right at some content problem is also in our domestic cricket.i saw mohammad sami taking hatrick in bangladesh premier league but nothing in sri lanka.shahid afridi scoring 80's in english domestic but nothing in the odi.our every player performs good in domestic but not in international.

Given the shite temperament of the majority of the others, he's a big miss.

His composed leadership seems to rub off on the others, especially in test matches, where Pakistan had lacked the discipline to succeed in for ages prior to Misbah's appointment.

Yes misbah is a miss but all player need to wake up and perform to their best which they are picked for Simple point is all players need to wake up specially hafeez

He will do the same that he did against many teams in 2011 and even 2012 in test matches inshallah . our all prayers are with him.and inshallah we will win the series inshallah.

Can't say what influence Misbah would have when we are fielding but the actual reason of our defeat is and has been our poor batting.As i have said before Misbah can't teach them how to bat.It's upto them that they should bat with sense.Although there were many decisions which were against us but 100 all out is not a new thing for Pakistan batting line up whether Misbah is playing or not.And trust me we'll remain inconsistent till we don't bat well.Only Misbah can't turn this team into a good batting unit,all of them need to contribute.

,just think when pakistan got out for 99 they went on to win that match.but at hafeez's time no bowling no batting.it is not senseless.it is a very strong point.

And it wasn't Misbah's heroics that we won that match.Misbah went on to score just 32 runs in 2 innings.It was our bowling,Azhar Ali who won the match for us not Misbah.And you can't blame Hafeez for that Eng cant play spin and SL can.It is indeed a senseless point that you blame Hafeez alone for our batting failure.I was just mentioning that even at Misbah's time the batting was a fail but thankfully England's poor approach to spinners helped us to beat them

ok ,i know all need to contribute to win.but against england misbah knows how to use his bowlers better than hafeez.see paki007 in this match in 4th innings everyone except taufeeq and azhar contributed but what is hafeez's job.is he a bowler or a batsman.he should have stayed till the match's end.eg[misbah and younis khan in 2010 in africa two days to go and defended two days]this is how a captain influences his team.

All need to contribute correct .We can't say whose fault is ,is its Misbah's fault ?or its Hafeez's fault ? why not Taufeeq,Azhar,Asad,Gul ? we only blame our captain when we lost .Why not coach ? Physico team ? others players ? why only Misbah and Hafeez? well its not the captain's fault its all the players fault.
