Pakistan's Tour of South Africa - Feb-March 2012/13

I wish Ajmal picks up 10 in an innings,he already has taken all 5,now next 5 must be his as well.

End of a very good day for us.Ajmal was phenomenal.Great display of offspin.I wish we keep taking wkts at regular interval so we could have a lead around 100

Standard of umpiring was very low. Steve Davis has been very reluctant in giving lbw decisions.

To be fair to the umpire, if he's consistent throughout the game with regards not giving LBW that's ok to an extent. Some umpires just don't like to give LBW decisions, but it gets a bit galling when they say no to a load, then just start triggering. This is also the epitome of why DRS makes sense. Good appeals, and the correct decision was reached.

Jeez they wouldn't shut up about that Kallis dismissal. The way the rule is written, with that last paragraph, sounds like more than half the ball needed to be hitting the stumps for them to overturn what the rule states should be considered a not out. I thought Kallis was a bit of a douche for standing around, but he was in the right since the umpire gave him out caught rather than LBW.

I obviously supported the correct decision being reached in the end though.

I dont understand why they are making such fuss about Kallis Dismissal.Even when an umpire gives a wrong decision,How many times have we seen them giving explanations? I think Younis was given out in same manner and nobody spoke a word about it

Irfan had Philander caught behind from a no ball when the umpire gave a no ball.

Here's a picture - decide for yourself.

biased umpiring, yesterday it was Fatty Davis, Ox joins the party today:cheers

He slided his foot a bit maybe that prompted the umpire to make the wrong call.I dont think umpire made wrong decision on purpose in this test but yeah almost all of them were against us

If the umpire gives a batsman out and it turns out to be a no-ball, it's overturned. So why can't the 3rd umpire step in and tell the umpire its not a no-ball to reverse the decision to out?

well, I'm not watching this live but over-ruling a wicket for a no-ball without checking the TV replays is very strange, I can't think of many instances where that's happened while I've been watching.

Very good bowling by PAK but the deficit was way too small. Should have, and could have, capitalised But will not win now. Too much time now for us to eek out a win. Probably undeserved.
