Pakistan's Tour of South Africa - Feb-March 2012/13

I have a real soft spot for azhar ali, I love the way he grinds his runs out. still, probably not much chance of winning the match if he needs to make the bulk of the runs, can't see pakistan being safe until well after lunch at his rate.

Yeah he may be a limited cricketer but the best thing about him is that he knows his limitations which makes him a better test player

The way we are playing,we must bat till tea tomorrow.Good to see Pakistan giving a hard time to the world no.1 team.

Way too cautious!
Loosing Younis Khan was big setback to Pakistan other wise Pakistan could easily add another 50 runs to the total and can have much better position.
At the moment SA are just a touch ahead. Pakistan need to get a lead of around 260-300 to tilt this game in their favour. But a low score of around 200-250 can make game even more joyful to watch as both teams will try to win.
Azhar needs to find some shots against the leftarm spinner and Misbha needs to play some other shots aswell because block, block and six will not be easy to get especially in the morning session.
Pakistan needs this pair to add another 50-60 runs before they can feel a little safe.
All in all a SA day forsure.

That's the biggest problem with Misbah.Blocks, blocks and then takes the big risk.Could have got many more runs if he had tried to concentrate on 1s

It boggles my mind to think that a 38 years old player does not know how to rotate strike. If he was a good rotator of the strike he would have been a part of our squad since 2000. I guess that is why he missed out when Inzimam and Yousaf were mainstay of middle order alongwith a budding Younus.

Shafiq had given innings a life even dozing Azhar was up when he came.Unlucky there to get out in that fashion.Although he could have prevent the ball from hitting the stumps

The change of ball and we collapsed :facepalm No hopes for us now in this match i guess.Batting doesn't seem to be that difficult here.everything under 250,and SA will win it easily

We hardly hit any ball hard and ball was out of shape :rolleyes.Nevertheless,it has been done many times,Umpires change the ball when they think that ball is out of shape. It's our inability of playing a relatively new ball that cost us these wkts

alright, but why would you replace a 65+ over old ball with 30ish over old one :facepalm
