Pakistan's Tour of South Africa - Feb-March 2012/13

It's so sweet how AB has taken little Faf under his wing :p Didn't they room together back at Affies Boys School? :spy

First AB wanted to quit keeping in tests, but realised his beloved Faf wouldn't even get a look as Thami comes in, so he decides he'd like to stay on and suffer through more pain for Faf :noway Don't worry lieverd, I've got your back :thumbs

Faf finally gets his opportunity in the 2nd test at Adelaide after the mysterious disappearance of JP Duminy, who never even made it to the field in Brisbane.

Cue two days of AB and Faf making man love on the pitch as one team tries to play cricket. Never mind that it was one of the most visually disturbing scenes ever witnessed by those in attendance and around the world, a hundred is a hundred and against Australia it's double.

Just to remove any doubts, schedule a series against NZ next though :lol

It doesn't come as any surprise then, as I read today that AB has stripped himself of the T20 captaincy and offered to serve beneath Faf, thus cementing him even harder in the faces of South African cricket.

So what's next for these two? Getting the old threesome back together with Rudolph? Or discarded him entirely now? Clearly wasn't selected on cricketing ability, so I guess time will be the judge of that one.

So did you enjoy your w@nk when watching them?

Aside from the dramatisation, I thought you of all people would acknowledge the obvious boy's club of AB, Faf, Rudolph and whoever else. Maybe Elgar since he's clearly nothing special either, yet has found his way into supposedly the #1 team.

I feel Faf should be elevated to the captaincy in the ODI format as well. De Villiers has come across as a reluctant leader, Amla even more so. AB is an exciting player to watch, but the captaincy does not seem to bode well with him.

Hey Addy, the PAK bowlers just got the ball changed after 58 overs. Isn't that cheating??

Well he has been identified early as a real talent. He may only come good later in his career as he hasn't shown the temperament to play at this level yet, but it's worth getting him involved because of how dominant the team is. SA could very easily bring in Rudolph again who would contribute more right now. That is Duminy's position anyway so he will go back to being a fringe player when SA return to test cricket in a few months.

Rahat took 6 i am so surprised

I feel that Pakistan made a mistake in leaving out Jamshed. Not that it would have changed the situation drastically.

Pakistan as a team have generally stood up to their opponents on foreign soil. This young team looks a bit lost,TBH.
