Patch General discussion

Personally I couldn't even imagine playing the Career on Amateur difficulty , I found it too easy to slog in Match Practice mode on it, Pro's where it's at. ;)

The Amateur mode is like playing the game on IC 09.

Anyway I was wondering will there be options to view stats ie. Run Graphs like:

Worm, Manhattan, Run Rate, viewing how many runs/areas that the player hit and versus each bowler.

Man of the Match in end of the game.

I tried to view stats in wagon wheel form and such and was unable to find any such option during a match for my career player. Is there no such option at all or am I missing something?

Curious, Would this be the first official patch release for any cricket game? Can't seem to remember patches for any of the previous games.

for consoles, yes this is first patch for any cricket game ever. However a patch for Ashes 09 was released for PC version.

i think the patch will defo improve on an already great game

im just crap at it lol

as long as the run out issue is fixed then im happy

I'm not sure on worm and manhattan but everything else is there.

We always say what is in the patches, there are patch notes - they must clear Sony/MS first before they can be given out.

Ross i am unable to download any team from the academy as it sayz the service is currently unavailable does this hav any patch effect??

I just hate the idea of knowing that a whole lot of feckwits asking for help on here have probably pirated the game.

I know what you mean.... I'm giving everyone the benefit of the doubt but there are some that seem to not have the manual handy....

I remember those games that made you look at a chart in the manual and enter the information to start the game. Apparently they were 'unphotocopyable' - though I imagine they didn't stand a chance against cameras and scanners.
