Post your questions about the game here!

So no XBLA then?! :(

We are working on it and have the code done.

There are issues with MS putting Games for Windows Live to bed (ie closed), Windows 8, and the new stores that will be coming. I expect it to all work out but can't promise it, MS will tell us what we are allowed to do with TableTop Cricket.

Hi BigAntStudios,

Really thanks for replying for all the questions we are raised in forum.

Can you tell when TableTop Cricket will be releasing.

Hi ross,

One question please.. is big ant cricket on same engine as rll2? Rll2 engine is amazing.. so kindly answer to this.. thanks.

Our engines are always improving over time, Cricket is running on a much improved engine from that used in RLL2 so it should be even better. The player creator for example has much improved ethnicity to cover all the players of the world of cricket more accurately than could be done in RLL2.

Does it support co-op and online multiplayer features?

There is online, indeed I believe the most fun you will have will be with local mulitplayer/online. I will give more details of the online functions closer to release.

Wow.. i just love the player creator in rll2.. and if the engine is better than rll2 then this is going to be the best cricket game.. as you said earlier about the motion that it is going to be same as the rll2.. Ross a fast ball say 145kph is going to feel that way? I dont want to mention again how slow a fast ball was in ic10 lol.. thanks ross..

Ross, I'm sorry if this has already been answered but if it has I can't find it on here! But will we be able to create our own custom tours? I like to be able to set up 3 tests, 3 odi's and 1 t20 or something. Can we do this? And if we can, will injuries play a part in the tour? Or are injuries reserved for career mode? Many thanks.

This is something i would love to see in the game. It will be icing on the cake. :p:p

As im not sure how many teams you have licensed, have u recorded the commentary names for the players who are unlicensed too? Because if im not wrong EA placed the option in the edit player where we can manually assign the commentary names to our players and it had the unlicensed players too.

Ofcourse! Board games are best played with friends, an animated machine run board game shouldnt be any different :)

"Changes for ODIs
Powerplays and fielding restrictions
There will be only two blocks of Powerplay overs, instead of three. For uninterrupted innings, the first block will be during the first ten overs and only two fielders will be allowed outside the 30-yard circle. The second block, comprising five overs, will be taken by the batting side and must be completed by the 40th over. Only three fielders will be allowed outside the circle during the second Powerplay.

During non-Powerplay overs, a maximum of four fielders can be placed outside the circle, a reduction from the earlier five.

Short-pitched deliveries
Law 42.6 (a) has been amended to allow the bowler a maximum of two short-pitched deliveries per over in an ODI."

This sounds exciting! Ross, this shouldnt be hard to implement now i guess? :)

Ross, I'm sorry to mention your competitors. :p
But on IC2010 when editing players skills. They had a points system you had to fill fill various bars with depending on how skilled you wanted the player. Will your game have this too? Or something similar?
I ask this as my main problem with it was I didn't like being tied down and told how good I could have a player. It was really hard to make a good quality all rounder. And on the flip side it was hard to make an excellent batsman who didn't bowl without making him "superman" in the field.
If that made sense!

Thanks for tip. But I was referring to the skills and not the looks of the player. Ross has said it will be a bigger and better editor. So I didn't want to look at one thing and end up with something completely different. But thanks for the tip man. :)

If you watch the video again carefully you will see the skill points area too not just the looks. I just love the player editor and I believe ac13 would not be able to do something like this as ross said the gameplay engine will be better than rll2.. i have very high expectations.
