Post your questions about the game here!

Yup, just like Madden does with "online pass". The problem with that approach is what do you do with used games? Say I buy a 2nd hand game legally from a retail store but the online pass/activation code is already used up by the original owner. What happens then?

I sincerely feel that the developer 'should' get some benefit of a second hand sale as well. There is a very thin line between piracy and game sharing actually (I dont see any difference in it though as it is just killing the sale of an original copy).

Think of online as a 'premium' feature. Some developers/publishers host online games on their own servers as well which involve costs....how will they recover it if people use that feature without paying anything for it! You can still buy a second hand game and pay a small fee to use the 'premium' online feature!

Most game devs hate used copies as much as piracy. I disagree on the basis that resale value in the used market is an offset against the retail price and non-saleable games should have a lower retail price at least - something that most digital stores get right (*glares at the Nintendo eShop*).

This. The non resaleable games, i.e. which makes use of online passes/ativation codes should have a lower price point.

Developers do get some benefit out of second hand sales by having lower number of returns for the game. I don't agree that piracy equates with 2nd hand sales as the consumer is purchasing the product legally. There could be a small "Activation Fee" for say online pass (I believe this is what EA does with Madden) but then you may run the risk of people getting caught unawares and dinged twice for the same product.

I can already see a scenario where a person actually ends up paying more for the 2nd hand game (2nd hand game purchase price + Activation fee) than what he/she would have paid for the original game. It's a slippery slope and I guess the gaming indusstry is still trying to figure out which way it wants to go. Sim City was a step in that direction (limiting piracy by having online connectivity all the time) but unfortunately it proved to be the wrong one.

A future version will have a "private" share, this will enable you to upload the teams and use them on the Console/PC versions without other people having access to them.

There will be no direct import/export facility for players/teams.

NOW Im a little concerned. Currently we can download players without logging in. I hope your servers accept only legal copies even without logging in?

The game itself is different, it has the regular platform holder checks in place, which I know can be circumvented but are harder when there is online content.

Ross, got some interesting questions for you.

We did see about 5-6 AI Batting Mentality in CA. But that works only when it is an ideal game right? Under pressure a rather conservative batsman would need to be aggressive given the situation and sometimes Gayle/Pollard may need to play the long innings. Not to mention the Test match-T20 playing difference. Guys like Rahul Dravid are simply astonishing. Most importantly, will the AI play for a draw given an imminent loss?

The next one is pretty straighforward. While playing against AI, how would it choose its playing XI? Been tired of it repeatedly choosing the first XI present. Does it choose the 'best' playing eleven considering form and conditions of play?

Thanks Ross.

Continuing forward Sibi's post, does the AI stick to the given line up or does it shuffle it up according to the match situation? Like sending in a night watchman in Tests?

^I would be thrilled to see AI send in night Watchman. It will be exhilarating to see it happen.

You are absolutely correct.

To be fair, there's a lot to be jealous of...
