It shouldn't be 505 who tricked Ross. It would have been a communication error between Ross's source and him. Anyway, as long as BA's Cricket is finished and approvals are done the games gonna be here. So no worries.

I personally believe Big Ant is going to be a hardcore fan's choice while Ashes is going to be an arcade experience. I really wish both build upon that foundation and reach great heights. But whatever, please release the game first Ross.

Also, I see brand "new engine and building from the ground up" reared its head again - they didn't create a new engine and they don't own it - they use Unity as their engine. Same team different coat of paint.

Perhaps naive on my part but why do you feel the need to bring this other game down? Why do you feel that they are being untruthful? Those are quite bold statements to make.....

Can't show due to licenses - bah humbug - so everyone in the room yesterday had an NDA?

Also if the license holders don't sign off they have to resubmit. (If indeed they have submitted at all... that's the question to ask.)

Well to be really frank with you I have never heard anything negative from them towards you or your company but you seem to take a particular relish in making it clear that you feel they are cheating somehow, stirring things up as it were.

To be honest and frank, you haven't heard much from them at all with a game apparently coming in less than a month. Tumbleweeds.

Yes, I am a stirrer and I'll be apparently copping it on the chin on the 21st June when their game comes out and it is spectacular.

What we all want is for both of these games to succeed and of course I understand you have a certain perspective about what that means and I appreciate that but it is certainly hard to remind people to go about the discussions in a respectful manner and to not let things generate into a war between the two companies and games when the CEO of one game is openly querying the integrity of the other company......

Being in the industry for a while I have knowledge of it and am in a position to know things that others here do not. I do not always reveal all I know, there really would be a war then!

PS: Don't read too much into it, it's a small industry here and everyone knows everyone, like real sports, it's all left on the field.

The fact is though that without revealing what you say you know you still allude to it....one could say that that can also have a poisonous effect as well. I realise fully well that I am going way beyond my brief here but I have never considered myself to be a yes man. I have a tremendous respect for your way of dealing with things and for your passion and your commitment but cant agree with you on this part of it all.

Ok I am sorry then, I just don't want this to become a controversy, getting really tiring already... all I want is a Cricket game to play. and I hope Ross will let us know the date soon.

Passion for this means that there are fine lines, and big thick black ones no doubt, that I probably cross all the time, but you take the good with the bad, hopefully mostly it is good.

This is a game and this part of the site is for entertainment. Indeed, I wouldn't be here for as long as I am on a daily basis unless I was being entertained, this place is a constant source of amusement.

On that note, I am really p*ssed off that you banned NAVEENCC, heretics!
