Don't think so as cricket still means the flying cricket here

But it should be available from online retailer's like HMV who will ship to Canada

According to Ross, the PC/PS3 versions should work fine but on X360 it may be region locked just like the previous cricket games

Good thing is that I have a PS3.

Will prices be adjusted for different markets?

AC09 was priced at INR 500/- here in India and I think that's a pretty good price if one is targeting the usual school/college going audience. (I doubt anyone in theirs 30s grew up playing PC games here in India)

Oh btw, all the insights into the game are truly a treat. Given how long we've been devoid of a cricket game and some of those developers who just left us with blue balls, its hard to resist to give in to this foreplay.

tendulkar cricket how does that sound for a indian release.:D

Amazingly enough I just saw my son in law Ben with Tendulkar on the TV! He is in Mumbai running clinics for Indian kids with him and is representing an indigenous team from Australia :)

EDIT: Sorry, it wasn't live, it was older footage that they used because he was getting the award :(

There's a story on it here http://www.cricketcountry.com/crick...n-indigenous-cricket-team-on-India-tour/18753

Our PM was announcing that Tendulkar would receive the Order of Australia.

I would love to get an insight into pricing there and why the Playstation Move gets such a mention? It seems there are a lot of Move devices in India?

Local developer Trine Games released 'Street Cricket Move' on the PS3 recently, so perhaps that forms the basis of an interest in it (or at least the marketing push)

I've heard that it sold really well.

Generally the masses here own a PC which is more often than not is bought by the family for the kid to learn computers(not many buy for recreational reasons alone). From where I come from, the usual games priced at INR 2000 or above are considered expensive and in most cases beyond a student's budgets(reason for piracy). As I said in my previous post, its mostly the students or people who've just finished their studies are the ones who play computer games. The generation(90s) before that didn't have computers at home

But from what I've heard console owners (usually the ones who are better off financially) don't mind buying these INR 2000 games.

@Move : I'm not too sure about this.

Ross isn't lying when he says he (and his company) made the best Aussie Rules game ever :thumbs

In AFL Live momentum is a very important aspect. Can we expect momentum to play a similar role in this Cricket game?

Thanks :)

Confidence and pressure are very important aspects of the game and therfore momentum will play a part. A batsman on fire is hard to stop, as is a bowler, these things have to factor.

Very cool, play cricket and see the world.

Tendulkar is like a god in india but i think he would be so much
money to get in the game, still how about tendulkar teachers
us how to play the game in training mode like nets.
Also do you have nets in the game and can we use them to improve
are created players stats.:yes

If you can get the game in about 500 PKR in Pakistan, it would sale quiet well if marketed effectively.

We haven't have much releases here but people still buy original games. :thumbs

Ross, this is completely out of the context maybe but, will there be any provision for someone who loses the disk or breaks it accidentally or something like that who obviously gets the game legally? I bought AC09 and now the disk has scratches and is about to die, I feel and I don't think there is any legal no disk patch out there...

Hi Ross, a few questions.

1.) Will batsman be able to play switch-hits, scoop shots, etc?
2.) Will batsman remove their helmets when scoring centuries?
3.) Will there be camera shots at the pavillion/crowd when a wicket falls?
4.) Finally, as far as music goes, will there be any big name artists contributing to the game soundtrack? Previous cricket games have only featured 1 or 2 tracks. If not, will there be a music playlist import feature?

Thanks Ross

Really, the big name music thing isn't important. I'd way prefer to hear some local stuff, but please more than 2 songs (AFL Live)!
