I may buy a ps3 just for this and Smackdown Vs Raw 2008, but at approximately ?350, I may not have enough to buy one, even after birthday money.

But back to PES 08. The official release date has been announced:

Konami have confirmed that Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 will hit the shops in the UK on OCTOBER 26th for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS2 and mobile formats. However, PSP and Nintendo DS fans will have to wait until November to get their fix.

Unfortunately i'm away in Portugal when it's released, ah well, i'll be back a couple of days after release. I might pre-order so that i can play it as soon as i get back from holiday. Thats a good idea actually

Don't mention it. But erm dont mention its out anywhere else either because theres no point it gets stuck at 35% no matter what connection you have.

Pretty pointless really!

I mean such great marketing by KONAMI to release a dmeo 7 days befor FIFA08 comes out, but once again whats the point if we can't play it befor FIFA08 comes out....mine should be done in the next few months I reckon...

PES is on about 55% for me, incredibly slow though.

Everyone is getting slow downloads with the PES demo. At least they bothered to release one this year, was well dissapointed that there was no 360 pes demo when i had my 360. I hope this demo gets relased on the PSN.

Any news on when a PC demo will be available? It's normally after release though so I will be able to play the full game before the demo comes out .

Apparently on a French poster for PES2008 it hinted the PC demo will be playable pretty soon, so shouldnt be too long, I'm waiting to play that too aswell as the 360 one!
