Cannot wait for Pes, and Fifa is good fun too despite its gripes, and i can safely say that i will keep playing both for some time. I think i will prefer Pes, but i still like Fifa a lot, the sign of that is that i actually paid for it.

And about the option file, Pes wouldn't be Pes if i didn't spend a day or two playing as London FC. :cool:

Yeah I'm pretty happy about that. Word is going round is that it will be free (should damn well hope so, this 'DLC' companies release for money is simply scandelous), and will include all of the transfers as of the end of the last transfer window.

There are however other rumours that a February update will be released which will have the January transfers, and will not be free.

I for one wont be getting that, Option Files are good enough for me. It's just another attempt to cash in for those without the opportunity to edit as freely on the consoles.

This week's WENB podcast is there views on the final game, which they recieved a few days ago. Some very interesting points and a great listen.

They are very honest, which I like, praising the successes and exposing the flaws.

After last year, I know that a lot of PES fans gave up. And we know why they did; it was pretty horrible, lets face it [chuckling]. I've talked to a lot of them, and they're umming and arring about whether or not to give it a proper go, not a 30 minute go, but a proper go, where they can experience the game and let it grow on them like the other Pro Evo's have. I think that, if you're a Pro Evo fan, or ever have been, you will [will] love this. You will enjoy it, and thats becuase it goes back to the roots in a lot of ways, so the fans who have grown up with the game are going to have an absolute blast with this one. The fans deserve more though, for there loyalty, and its been a long time coming.

It's not romotely next gen in its looks, which is a huge shame. The gameplay is, just fabulous, beautifully refined, but Konami need to learn what is expected of them in the looks department, there game is too good to look like it does. Even my missus says 'FIFA looks incredible, why you playing Pro Evo' and all that, and I think its that with Pro Evo, its that gameplay that hooks you, and its still got that hook. The gameplay is fantastic, but it isnt the only game that has that hook anymore, and the looks have important all of a sudden...Keep the gameplay as it is, change how it looks, and sort out the features, such as the running animations, and this will stop the ship sinking of fans.
